I didn't meet my 2023 sales goals as a small soap making business and what my plan is going forward!

If your anything like me and struggle with organizing and following through than you'll like these two products that I really enjoyed last year and repurchased for 2024.

I finally took the time to pull my 2023 analytics and didn't meet my financial goals. BUT... I'm happy with where I am. Have you looked over yours and what did you think? I would love to see where others are at and what their plans are moving into 2024

I am only doing my essential oil soap business part time yet. I am working on getting on Shopify soon and Etsy. Have you ever tried Etsy ? My sales did improve this year from last year because I did a lot more farmers markets in the summer. My goal this year is to develop more products to my line. I started selling candles this winter and that really helped my sales too. I am also renting a booth at a vintage mall I just moved into this week and I will see if that helps my sales. So I am hoping 2024 is going to be my best year yet.

That sounds amazing! I did Etsy for about 7 years. It did take some time to get orders and I did like their old business model. I left last year because fees were insane and it lots of makers were no longer handmade. I use Shopify and absolutely love it. Reliable and affordable with lots of customized options for your specific look. That mall option sounds so cool. I can't wait to see how it does!
