I Didn't Expect This in America!

Nashville's Honky Tonk Highway is bustling like India. The street is lined with live music bars, eateries, and chock-a-block with people out for a good time. Have you seen another street like this in the world?
The Honky Tonk Highway houses some of the most famous bars in the U.S. Many big stars got their big breaks in this district, and live music can still be found 7 days a week.
This is the heart of the American country music scene. Where the legends like Johnny Cash Show, Bob Dylan, Joni Mitchell, Graham Nash, and Willie Nelson performed once upon a time.
First, I take you along the honky tonk highway, then to live country music bars Redneck Riviera and Kid Rock's bar "Big Honky Tonk", and we end by eating Tennessee's famous barbeque at Jack's Bar-B-Que.

Anyone could be packin’ , dude. You are white male and in your 30s and fit the profile description for the typical shooter in the US Marijuana is NOT legal in Tennessee both medical and recreational. It’s legal in several of the states but TN is uber conservative and Bible thumping so no, marijuana is still not legal there yet. You have to go to the more liberal states for legal recreational cannabis. Or you can go to Canada up north where it is fully legal.

Never thought I'd see you in the US. As a New Yorker that recently went to Kentucky, I can say that the southern hospitality is real. People down there were all around much nicer. People up here in NY on average tend to be cold, distant, and always in a hurry. We aren't the most kind, welcoming people, but when someone becomes our friend, we are very loyal. There are so many different cultures here in the US. If you come to Western New York, you have absolutely got to try our chicken wings. They are the best.

Moved from NY to FL a few years ago. Personally I don't miss the personalities in the North such as you described. It's a lot more relaxed, people are generally friendly, and are always willing to lend a hand to a person in need. Only downside is when you leave your house your glasses fog up, Rain can get heavy, hurricanes can wreak havoc, and Alligators (on a very rare occasion) will end up in your front lawn.

@@alexs.818 It seems to be in a lot of places. I'm from Western New York and the people are cold and distant here. I've travelled ad enjoyed many places in the world including Memphis, New Orleans and a few other places in the South. There are a lot of similarities between the South and India. I am from Oregon USA. My Wife is from Cookeville TN. We lived there for a couple years back in the late 90's. I have been trying to convince her to go back for 20 years. Once you get outside the big cities everyone is so friendly. Like you are family. It was something I had never experienced and have been yearning for ever since. The only reason we haven't gone back is our adult daughter has too many ties to oregon and my wife cant leave her.

My parents (one who is 60+) have said that this is by far the worst condition they have ever seen the U.S. in: education, prices, safety, corruption, etc. We hope that this is will become at most a scar and not a permanent crisis Edit: grammar mistakes
