I had this kind of thing in Luxor, Egypt. It got so annoying that at one point I decided to count how many times people followed me and tried to sell me something. 12 times in 15 minutes. I was just walking along the street. As soon as one guy gave up, a new one would run across the street to take his place. Bizarrely, I never had this problem at all in India. I must have gotten lucky.

Having these people around everywhere made me never wanting to go back to India ever. Sad but true.

Thanks for this video. I really wish Indian people would understand how annoying this type of constant interruption is. This behaviour will deter people from coming to Kashmir for the four months when it’s warm .

I just got back from India and man it sucks. There's no privacy and just a lot of annoying people keeps following and talking even if we ignore them they keep on following us. Bro I understand they need to earn money but being a nuisance to other people and making other people uncomfortable isn't cool. 100% not recommended to go visit India. Never coming back!

My friend it's not only foreigners even me being native to Srinagar once a man approached to me and told me that you wanna come with me I'll give you free cigrate and all. Its not just foreigners. We Indians face this as well all over India at every tourist spots. We just ignore them and don’t reply them back. Couples and the bigger families are the prime target for them.

Agreed, but its more difficult for non indians because scammers knows that foreigners are with the heavy pockets.

i appreciated the one guy being like "look, shit gets cold and we need to live"

After visiting Nepal & India for 3 weeks with my father, this was extremely informative, thank you :) Great video

Dude you are too nice. Don’t let them do the walk around just firmly say No and then ignore. You give signs of an in by being all friendly.

There's one time in India, a rickshaw driver told me that he had lots of friends all arround the world, then he took a bunch of namecards from his pocket and showed me one from Hong Kong (I'm from Hong Kong). He said he took this guy to shopping and the guy was very happy with his service, but I saw on the card some words written in Chinese "不要信此人" - that means "don't trust this man".

They just like real life spam ads on internet

THE TRICK TO AVOID THESE PEOPLE : 1. YOU MUST NOT INTERACT WITH THEM. 2. DONT MAKE EYE CONTACT. 3. LOOK AWAY. 4. DONT SHAKE THEIR HAND. 5. WALK AWAY WITHOUT SAYING ANYTHING. 6. DONT LOOK BACK AND YOU’VE SUCCESSFULLY AVOIDED THESE ANNOYING PEOPLE :D

Hats off! I grew up in India and I couldn't spend a minute putting up with this crap...

As a seasoned traveler never approach scammers as he does. He explains that but I want emphasis this. Ignore them and keep walking never stop because they will interrupt this as interest. If you interact in anyway they will smother you and even gang up on you!

I am Indian and 13 years old. Whenever I travell somewhere in India, many people come like this, my parents avoid them. When I was kid, I used to think - Jab saamne se itna offer aa raha hai, tab mammi-papa thukra kyon raahe hain😂
