I was in foster care and got to see my mom by on the weekends as well. It's so inspirational to see a successful person that was in the same situation. Between being in foster care and my foster mom nurturing me, I know it made me a better more resilient human being.

You can tell this guy is genuinely happy and fulfilled. Not going to lie before watching this interview i was in a slightly bad mood but half way through I found myself excited and encourage just from listening to this guy

This scheme is exactly what my daughter and I want to achieve - we have it all planned out it’s great to hear someone has made it happen - we are doing our best to align with creating it physically.

Great interview. I didn't know much about John Paul. When he mentioned his mom and the steak and giving to St Vincent De Paul, I'll admit I was tearing up. What a good man. Thank you Lewis.

I wish that every person was given the opportunity to hear this interview. So much Humanity... so much Wisdom... he is someone I would love to meet in person.. he is only the second famous person that I've ever wished for that opportunity. I'm not impressed by actors or singers .. others in the entertainment field or athletes They are just people that do something hopefully well and are being paid for what they do. But this man is something special. I'm entering my seventh decade soon, and of living people that I would wish to meet before the end of my life he is one of two. He is refreshing and wise based on things he's learned in life.

Wow, never heard of this gentleman before, so glad I came across this podcast. He is such an inspiration, I could listen to his life stories everyday. Wonderful person to learn from.

We are seeing the results of the foster kids not having support or anywhere to go after they age out of the system. That's one of the reasons gangs are so appealing, they take them in and tell them we are your family and for some of these kids that's the most concern anyone ever showed them. I was a foster kid from 3 to 18 and know the bitter life of being a foster kid. No one ever give you a hug or kiss or say I love you. I guess that's why every night before we go to bed I still hug and kiss my 25 year old daughter good night and say I love you. This is one of your best interviews I've watched to date. I wish everyone watching this great success.

I remember those times, as a real estate broker, interest 18% in 1981 and waiting in line for gasoline in 1974. Totally relate with him. What a great spirit.

I cried when I heard how you are willing to help the homeless and to lift them up. Thank you so much for doing what you do to restore their dignity. I would use existing housing to give everyone a studio apartment, and teach them to work online, while getting paid, with a %for the apartment and utilities. I would not have food pantries, but put money on EBT cards weekly based on your work ethics.

I thoroughly enjoyed this interview. I soaked up every nugget. The story about creating the 200 little homes for the homeless in Texas really touched my heart. That’s something I’ve envisioned to do in the future.
