From the moment we moved aboard Starry Horizons, I've always felt like there had to be a better way of identifying and tracking all the maintenance and work needed to keep her sailing safely. My spreadsheets were good, but they could only do so much. So together with my brother, we've finally built a better solution.
Introducing Maintenance Right on Schedule: MaintenanceROS.com
We’ve assembled a large (and ever growing!) database of official maintenance schedules for marine equipment. You can search, customize or even create your own tasks to personalize the maintenance schedule for your boat. And it really is personal. We’ll predict when you need to do that next oil change based on how often you actually use your engine!
Not only can you track maintenance, but we have a library of checklists you can use for your boat as well as a 'to-do' list feature for all those small things that need to be done.

@@david_shih I am an ex maintenance scheduler retired from a oil and gas company so a man with your talents can easily knock up a schedule, because you virtually rebuilt your yacht this means that you know more about your vessel than others and also being with Colin (Below Deck Yacht celebrity) you picked up a lot of tips. Once i get cruising this looks like an essential service.

So I need to be connected to the web to access my information? This seems like a fatal flaw for cruisers who go offshore.

Up until about a year ago, I would have 100% agreed with you. But when we got to the Bahamas this year, at least 50% of the boats already had Starlink. And all of our friends crossing the Atlantic, Pacific and Indian oceans this year have it as well. I do think we're at the tipping point where complete lack of internet access is no longer much of a concern. Also, from a development perspective, the time and effort required to develop full offline access is significant. Given the trend in Starlink usage we decided it'd be a better use of our resources to focus tools and features that will make the tracking of maintenance as quick and easy as possible.

Great concept for those that are fastidious with their maintenance, becomes more of a task that may suit some but not others. Some but not all believe in RTF, thank you for highlighting this MST, be safe, God Bless America 🇺🇸

Maybe have an expanded video where you show cartoon using app and what sort of systems (eg rig, engine, etc) will be ‘included’ It’s apparent on website what you get but sort of glossed over in video This looks very helpful because as you say….so many spreadsheets!
