Because they are grown adults that probably spend most of their time with family / working. When you have responsibilities you tend to care less about a gaming setup as long as it works.

You can really see Linus' morale dive off a cliff when he realizes he's being asked to kludge in a stack of hard drives in the least elegant or aesthetic way possible, and that the person asking him to do it truly isn't bothered.

Nick is Linus’ nemesis, I have never seen Linus so triggered by someone to this point, he felt helpless and he looked hopeless. Linus tried several different tactics, pointed everything that was wrong, Nick gave *_ZERO F%$#_* which drove Linus even crazier! Then Linus gave up and went for immature warfare but what really kills Linus is the fact that deep inside he knows that Nick might not even undo the mess he created on purpose.

vampire survivors is so fun and they have been adding so much so quickly. These videos are so great, this series was such a good idea.

As for the screw driver, I used to work in aerospace and we used to use chromed snap on tools. One day, a flek of chrome broke off and got into some very sensitive equipment. After that, they changed ALL the tooling to mate black. Long story short, if the black finish scratches off, you do not want that anywhere near your electronics.

The intel extreme tech upgrade series is one of THE best tech formats on youtube/LTT. I just love it. It shows real and genuine nice people and how they all spend the money on quite different ways. I enjoy seeing their homes and interests. Linus has a great team and the dynamic is so damn funny. Please do many more of these and hire new people to never let it end!

I actually love all the hobbies but my god, I'm with Linus when it comes to sticker placement. Stickers aren't my thing but the slightly off-centre lonely stickers are driving me nuts 😂

I hope someone at LTT reads this, maybe linus Since Scrapyard wars ended this is the only series I look forward to as much as back then. I love learning more about the staff and seeing your interactions with them. PS Ik you've probably heard this before but, me and alot of people would perfer the black to stay an option, I love the worn look if a bit of the paint chips off over time every non silver one does! List it clearly (Unlike 99% of them) and even make it cost 2$ more or something in lower volume alot of people will still perfer it. Otherwise alot of people will order a spare like me and hope they last forever or cry when theirs is stolen 2years from now and they can't replace it.

Biggest lie in the hobby, lmao. Endgame is getting to build keyboards for others and being able to charge enough to make it worth your time. I built some unattainable keyboards (like, literally 5 figures) for free before, there's a few around I'd still build for free, but since people who buy those buy them to flex so they send them to the big streamers I stopped.

I think Linus meant like ash residue and discoloration from that. I have my own and the very tip is definitely well blackened by now and scrubbing doesn't make it come off either.

Previously I wasn’t a fan of Plouffe’s, but after watching this he’s now in my top ten of favorite ltt personalities.

As someone who buys several collections per year and plays weekly, for most $100+ cards are actually pretty special. Most collections don't have them.

This episode has me cracking up hard! Love the rabbit hole that Nick has gone down with the keyboard mods. Respect.

Okay but at the same time, the fact that LTT is going through all of the screwdriver tests for WEEKS before they ship them out is great.

Not even 4 minutes in and Linus is dropping breakable things. I love this man.

As a budding keyboard enthusiast, MTG player, and vinyl collector I feel personally attacked. And thoroughly entertained. Can't wait for the next one!

I also felt a little offended when Linus said his place was filled with "all kinds of weird stuff" and it's literally just a wall of Unstable basic lands. Like wtf those are some of the best best basics in magic.

Love these videos as always, and while our hobbies differ - Plouffe is a nerd after my own heart :)

Just a note on the screw driver. Put some "extended" bits with it or a smaller precision screw driver in the set with it. Its very common for some screws to be deep in a hole and having those small bits into hex end wont go in far enough down the hole to extract screw. I see this allot on Laptops, controllers that kinda thing. Sunk in screws suck.

Especially relevant for keyboards. Saw another youtuber who scratched up the anodization on a new board because the bit was too wide for the screw well.

With how much Nick tinkers with keyboard parts, I wonder what kind of work he could do with arcade stick buttons. There are some that use keyboard switches.

Tbh, for the most part you won't notice the characteristics of the switch. I built my stick with Crown 301/302s? that use keyboard switches. But since the pushbutton itself rubs so much against the housing, you don't get much benefit from lubing or using different switches.

All these are so good but this definitely in my top 5. Bully Linus works so well in this one, not too annoying but kept everything entertaining.

RPCS3 also heavily leverages TSX support. I remember unlocking TSX functionality in my 4690k to get better performance.

Ahh yes another keyboard enthusiast with more chassis and switches than one should ever need with copious amounts of desk mats and a stupid number of novelties. I feel a sense of kinship/bad financial decisions.

Dude spends more on his keyboards, stupid stickers and cards then some people on their cars...

You never have to justify your keyboard hobbies and expenses to me. I have been hot swapping, modding/experimenting, and buying mechanical keyboard since 2012 and I still do it till this day. Magic the gathering is great unfortunately it has become so expenisve to collect compared to when I was a young.

I love the PUP poster, this is my favourite LTT upgrade so far
