Never have I ever seen an elite sportsman so hated within England as Ronaldo. For 2 decades the English have despised Ronaldo, tried to diminish his footballing abilities and accolades. The funny thing is a 39 year old Ronaldo has been more effective in game than England's darling Harry Kane who is Europe's top scorer.

What english people think of ronaldo really means nothing to him When gaza cried when i was a kid in 1990 was welcomed by the english, and when stuart pearce cried as he missed his penalty was seen as a good thing by the english. I have no idea how other peoples seeing gaza cry, and what they thought about it? Does anyone know if other countries people cared that gaza cried that night in 1990. I doubt it. What ever was going on with ronaldo, ronaldo has had tears quite a few times playing football, so why would it shock people?
