I have alopecia. I am vegan and i dont eat gluten or sugar. I went on an auto immune diet for 4 months. I have a healthy gut. My hair didn't grow back at. I have tried EVERYTHING, when I say EVERYTHING, I mean EVERYTHING!!. So now, all I can do is stand on the word of God for my hair to grow completely back. The word of God says, things that are impossible with man, is possible with God. It is impossible for man to cure in-curable diseases (alopecia, cancer, glaucoma, etc)....but it's NOT impossible for God. If you are like me and you have tried everything to restore your hair, pray and ask God to regrow hair where man says hair will never grow in that area of your scalp again. AMEN!!

I know you’ve said you’ve tried everything, I’m just curious if you been checked for any underlying problems? Or checked to see if you have any vitamin deficiencies?

@@iamnilsa Yes. I saw a dermatologist. I have had blood work done. I've checked for vitamin deficiencies. I have had steroid injections years ago when I first detected a bald spot. I've tried every shampoo, vitamin, hair oil, etc. What has happened is the hair that I DO HAVE is growing and it's very healthy, but it's not even enough to catch into a ponytail. The crown is bald. My focus is not on the hair that I have, but the bald areas. I just purchased a laser cap with the red lights inside. Of course I have been told that it is not for scarring alopecia, but I'm willing to try it anyway. The cap was $800. So yes, I have tried everything, literally EVERYTHING. A woman's 👩🏽hair is her 👑 crown and glory 🕊✝️....and I don't believe that God intended for women to be bald. Of course, we have to do our part and take care of our hair. When I was much younger, before internet & KZread, I didn't take good care of my hair. There was no information like we have today to help guide us in proper hair care. Black women were told that we couldn't have long hair. That was/is a lie, but we didn't know it. Our hair just needs moisture and natural protective styles and it will grow to our butts. Thank you for your KZread channel. I appreciate you. May God continue to use you to get the message out on how we should pamper and take good care of ourselves and our hair. 💯🤝🏽❤️

Do you have relatives who also have Alopecia bc it can be inherited? Hair loss can also be caused by hormonal changes due to menopause. If neither applies to you, you may want to consult with a healthcare professional.

Changing your diet to more whole foods and less processed and drinking water does make a difference. I started taking Hair La Vie vitamins for hair growth, plus doing protective styling that doesn't stress my scalp and edges (crochet twists). I do scalp massages and use hair oils on my scalp. Stress is a huge factor. I noticed that once I started dealing with my stress in a more productuve way ( prayers, journeling, standing up for myself, cutting toxic people out of my life) I felt better and less stressed. I actually started loosing my hair as a result of extreme stress at home and work, but didn't make the connection for years. This is my time for healing.

My hair was 35 inches long & thick & now, I can almost wrap a standard sized pony tail holder around my hair almost 3 times. I used to need the XL ponytail holders. I got my first steroid injections at my first derm visit (same day it got diagnosed), not gunna lie, I see growth in the injected spots but I'm still developing more & more bald spots & the spots that were injected did continue to get bigger even after injections. *all of which are typical findings, even after injections* I'm so sad about my hair loss. I just ordered my first wig, it comes in tomorrow. Im hoping that helps me cope while I wait for regrowth... I'm here if you want to talk. But I do truly get where this beautiful lady is coming from and stress has a majority part, plus my mental health, dealing with losses with family and employment due to covid, and so forth. Her story is exactly what I have and is experiencing and I know that I have alopecia and I need to change so much Starting Today! This is the best gift on this Mother's Day to myself and that is to start a new hair journey, better diet, and get a career I'm going to enjoy and love plus my hair care routine with a good protective style that I won't have to touch my hair. Thank You So Much for this Video!❤️💯❤️💯

My edges and the crown of my head have been bald for over 13 years due to several traumatic events and severe stress. I’ve done all of the creams, steroid shots, and other toxins with no results. I started changing my eating habits in summer 2017 and stopped all forms of medication, but my stress and anxiety hasn’t changed; and at times cause me to revert back to old eating habits. Shortly before my hair fell out, I was experiencing a lot of gut issues that have persisted over the years, but dramatically improves when I am able to stick to a fruits, nuts and veggies only lifestyle. You have given me so much hope and the confirmation I needed to know that my hair will grow back once I find a sustainable way to handle stress and anxiety 🙏🏾

Stress and anxiety are tricky because it literally comes down to your mind. I also had anxiety BAD about 6 years ago. Figuring out a way to handle it will definitely be a weight lifted off you. I watched a bunch of videos and read books to tried a few different things. The two biggest things that has helps me was a vision board and every time I think the worse thing is going to happen, I think the best possible thing will happen. It tricks your brain lol. I do believe once you have more control over your mind, your diet will be so much easier. ❤️

I've recently removed meat from my diet with the exception of seafood, I am trying to eat more grains, fruits and fresh veggies. The difficulty is removing the dairy but I'm just trying to figure this thing out naturally. I've also noticed when I'm stressed my spots get bigger. Right now my crown is basically gone, there are some follicles but there is also scarred tissue. I will try these oils and get better with my hair massages. This give me hope because I have been dealing with alopecia areata as well. I got the shot and it grew my hair out once, but I start growing my hair and I was getting braids and broke my hair so my spot came back. It's demoralizing not going to lie, and I'm trying to have hope and motivation about this situation and I think your video gave me hope. I use essential oils and sulfur 8 and doo gro and just hoping for the best. I also think another underrated part of alopecia areata is worrying about your hair and how it look. So I just have to not worry about that and just let the oils and products do their part. But for anyone dealing with this issue, it's hard and it can reck your confidence but have to have hope and it will get better.

To those of you that don't know yet, glyphosate is the root cause of most health problems today. Changing diet in my case involved stopping eating foods grown or harvested with glyphosate and other pesticides. It's a very difficult and expensive decision but there is no way I can allow anything to rob me of my health, self esteem and happiness. The scientific world is full of shit and the one lie that I'll never buy from them is that the body attacks itself. Guys, change your diet. Eliminate foods with glyphosate from your diet. Wheat, corn, sugar, canola oil etc. If you must eat those things eat organic ones but stay away from canola oil and olive oils that are not organic. Your gluten and gut issues will disappear. Glyphosate wipes out minerals from the body and interferes with the normal function of many hormones.

@Sarahtimmerman Instead of saying "it's not that easy," try saying "how can I do it" because anything in life that is worth it will not be easy. This is an excuse and detrimental to your growth. Changing my diet was one of the hardest things I've ever had to do. I decided that me living a healthy life, without taking meds every day or in pain and being able to raise my kids and see my grandkids one day was more important. I came up with a plan and stuck to it. If I slipped it, I picked up from where I fell off.

I already had a long standing problem with my stomach and gut and have been taking medication for it. Then divorce totally killed my hair and it hasn't grown back at the front so I've shaved it all off. My diet is very good as I cook from fresh. Lots of fresh fish, vegetables and fruit. l don't eat fried food, it upsets my stomach's equilibrium. My advice would be as soon as anyone notices their hair is thinning or even falling out, jump on it with treatments. I just left mine hoping it would grow back on its own but it hasn't. Thanks for sharing your story. All the best.

I'm sorry to hear that. Are you still taking medicine? If so, I would suggest talking with your doctor. Someone commented a while back and stated they asked their doctor to change meds because some of the side effects were interfering with her hair growth. Once she changed meds, her hair started growing back. I hope this helps! 🙏🏽

Say some more about that, please. Why do you think your clients would cringe when you brought up that topic? Do you see any visible connection between the condition of clients' hair or scalp and their attitudes about a diet-centered kind of hair care?

@@DesperadoJux Hello there, there is absolutely a connection between the two. As a service provider, it has become apparent to me that the greater majority would prefer the ability to see amazing results where their natural hair is concerned without having to make any personal adjustments to their lifestyle. Diet is certainly one of those connections that clients may already know as a variable in their lack of hair/scalp health and actively choose to ignore simply because it requires a bit more effort. Even more than effort the assumption that they'd have to give up some of their favorite foods and beverages in exchange for more hydrating and nutritional options can be unattractive to some. Truthfully, we've been given all we need to achieve optimum health.

Be careful with dying your hair too, it's drying, and could add to your hair to start falling out again I'm glad that your hair is growing back too. Yes you are using the right essential oils, peppermint, rosemary. You can also add lavender, tea tree oil, all of these helps in hair growth They sure worked for me when my hair was thinning and coming out due to me taking medformin for diabetes. I was wondering why this was happening, until a co-worker told me the other side effects of taking that medication. I stopped taking it, and told my doctor, and was put on something else. Since using all of these oils my hair had started growing and still is growing. My hair is passed my shoulders now. I don't dye my hair either.
