To be fair, I prefer Robert to Steve. His passion is there, but much more grounded than the somewhat over the topness of his father. There's something truly pure about Robert.

I could see his dad having the same reaction to the condom joke. It's incredible the seeing the similarities between them when they didn't really get to spend a lot of time together. Maybe it's Bob Irwin that sort of influenced both Steve and his kids so that they would have this wonderful sort of persona, though I don't want to say it that way because I think this actually is how Steve was and his kids are. Something about the environment they were raised in is really something special.

Edit: I saw the second jump he did getting out of the Iguana enclosure and you are 100% right. Forget about it I got to be honest with you it’s not that hard. Many in shape young people can do that. Many older people can too if they workout. Are you by chance on the older side? If you are then your comment makes total sense.

I thought both their kids and his wife had “taken over his mantle”. I love how he taught them to love animals so much. Can you imagine growing up with zoo animals instead of a cat or dog? Someone needs to recruit Robert Irwin as the new Indiana Jones or something, the energy he has. Russel we NEED more of these episodes! Love the travel; please do Australia with your mum. I really miss those.

Robert may not remember much about his father and I hope his father would be so proud of him and Robert Irwin had lost his dad at his age of 2 in 2006 but his mother and his sister were here after his dad died

He (Robert) is, in his own words "Just amazing!"; all the moreso given his youth. And Russell has always been amusingly entertaining, too 😄

Gotta love Robert he’s so passionate with what he does and he’s such a polite and caring young man, his father would of been proud of the person he’s become :)

My mum is terrified of all animals other than dogs. I don't get it, coz I'm into all animals like my dad. However she was a teacher for over 30 years and could master a classroom in seconds, something most people would be terrified to attempt. Some people are just better with other people and find animals too unrelatable and unpredictable because they don't understand them. I find animals very predictable, but my mum is both terrified of them hurting her or her hurting them and just wants them away from her.

It's nice to see some extra footage that's relatively fresh!

Utensil basket in my house has everything except for knives pointing up so that the eating end gets the full force of the spray rather than being obscured down in the shadows.. Knives down is an old habit just for safety so you can mindlessly grab stuff without getting stabbed
