Weird, this is at "The Pipeline" in Upland, CA and "Skatepark Paramount" in Paramount, CA. Narration sounds like it is from the movie "Skateboard Madness". This is definitely not 1983, more like 1978 as the other commenter suggested.

crazy i didnt now paramount had a park back then, they now have the village park which has some transitions holds true to its history

There's no way this footage is from 83.

Way earlier than 83

1978. Caster weren't making boards in '83.

This is even before Caster's were 10" x 30" Pigs which was a few months later in 1978. John Gibson was a protege of Chris Strople. Gator was a protege of Tom "Wally" Inouye and got the nick name "Gator" as a result. I got to see Inouye skate the Combi and mentioned it to Gator when I met him in Toronto without knowing about all of this. I mentioned Fred Blood to him also and he told me he was sponsored by Blood Wheels.

I used to skate with Billy Beauregard back in 78 and 79, and I had a Caster Board, megatron Trucks, and Cryptonic Wheels, lol. That was a big board, as I recall having all my stickers on the bottom. We skated like there was no tomorrow, good times

No park was ever in SF and the last park around closed in like 80-81. Winchester in San Jose
