@@Beazle00There are actually serious repercussions for shooting at a polar bear in Svarbald. They have many laws in place to protect them. That is what I love so much about Svarbald- they protect the nature there & the residents respect it. You must be new to this channel because you would’ve already known this. Cecilia can correct me if I am not explaining it correctly.

Yes! Agree! We caught Covid for the first time, at the end of June from a coughing person who must have thought they didn’t have anything contagious. It affected us like s cold would, though the fever at the start alerted us to dig out our remaining Covid tests. Positive! We didn’t test negative until 10 days later. So many “Summer Colds” this year - if they are coming on with fever & aches, it’s probably the latest strain of Covid. Stay away from everyone if you’re sick!

Loooove your place and your surroundings! You’re so blessed😍. This brings back that overwhelming feeling of expansiveness and powerful “presence” I experienced during the 5 days I was in Svalbard in August of 2016. I live in Oslo, and when I woke up the next morning after I was back from what I still regard as among the most life-changing places I’ve been to , I literally sat on the edge of my bed and cried. The energy I felt up there was like truly embracing love. Thanks for sharing your about your life and the magic of Svalbard with us!🙌🏻

Love all the videos but especially feel the cozy polar nights with snow covered ground, town being snowy, when it feels like hot chocolate or hot tea by blazing fire with warm blanket and great movie! Can’t wait! Would love to visit and see all nature’s beauty first hand!

Beautiful video, thank you so much. The wildlife around you is so incredible, and I'm glad that everything and everyone is taken care of safely and with compassion. It's how it should be. I'm sorry about Sweden and your virus, but as you said, you made the right call. I once flew with a sinus condition and it felt like someone was doing open surgery on my face without anaesthesia.

I hope you're both feeling better! Take time to fully recover because long covid is a harsh mistress and if you rush headlong back into full activity, you may find yourself sick once again. Please avoid that at all costs. Love the wildlife video and appreciate you sharing with us even though you've been ill. Here's to future excursions and time with family!

Ohhh I hope you both feel much better soon! Incredible to see all those wild animals so close to you, it must be awe-inspiring. I saw fin whales and others in the Azores this summer and was blown away. I'd love to see a mushroom foraging video!!

This was a GREAT video!!! The wildlife! The cod! The changing season! Your great attitude about the deferred trip to see family!! Couldn’t help but notice the different pitch on the ‘good bye’ - I giggle at how it’s the same 🎶most times. Your last shot of the beautiful seascape with the lovely boat was awesome .

Get better!! I have to commend your commitment to others by NOT spreading your virus. As an immunocompromised human, I really appreciate behaviour like yours. And your ability to brush off your disappointment at not getting to see your family is admirable. I would have cried for a day and felt hurt for a week. So thank you for showing me the other behaviour option!! ❤

I hope you both feel better soon! My youngest son woke up sick with covid this morning, so no school for him this week. I made the same mistake of flying with a cold and the pain took my breath away 😖 I also couldn’t hear for a week afterwards. But, as you said “that’s life”. Good health to all and have a great week🙏🏻
