This is an awesome tip/idea! I never would have thought about painting on the mould directly (I would have been afraid to stain it and never tested it out) I love how they turned out! So cool!

Thank you. My best advice is make sure it is fully dry before pouring the resin. 😀

Steve, I missed what the fluids is that you used to clean the brushes between colors? I don’t know what to use to clean up after enamel paints.

No they are enamel paints.

I checked the price, not too bad, basically $20 plus $7 shipping for that basic set

They also last a very very long time as a little goes a long way. 😀

I got them to paint a model and just had to experiment with them with resin lol.

You honestly won’t be disappointed, just make sure they are fully dry before pouring the resin.

So nice! But I’m curious as to why you don’t just spray with alcohol to rid the bubbles? What’s your thought on that?

I use these paints now on quite a few things where I haven’t sealed with resin.

I’m wondering if it will transfer to an eco resin. I’m using Magic Pour casting powder from Let’s Resin, and would love to see you give it a try. It’s a very nice product.

Steve, My son-in-law has a birthday coming up & he loves turtles. How does that turtle feel about taking a flight to the USA? Please tell me how I can make this happen

No matter what you use mica powder, nail polish, or paint doesn't it come off since it's not imbedded in the resin & sitting on top?

The resin seal in and it becomes part of the piece so shouldn’t come off. Especially with the powders etc as the resin amalgamates with the product.
