One great thing is that after your mold is worn out you can cut it up and toss the pieces in to the next mold you make. It takes up spaces and costs less.

What a wonderful tutorial, Steve! ❤ Thank you so much! 😊💕👍 Ooooh! What if...? You coated the interior with mica or chameleon powder (or leave plain) the painted thin, built up layers of UV resin to create a hollow "shell", then made a wee diorama? Fill with clear resin (if you want), let cure. Cute ornaments, necklaces... I think they'd sell well! GREAT video!

Thanks for making this video Steve, I have been unsure about making molds for myself but after watching how easy it was.for you, I think I will give it a go. I love your method for creating a box using tape, that was very handy to know as well. Also thanks for the links in the description, they make life so much easier. Have a great week!

Great tips, as always, for a lovely detailed, shiny, mould. I got some of the jdiction silicone mould compound a while back, but of course I've been procrastinating.... hopefully this is the kick up the arse I need to get on with it!

My biggest bit of advice is to make sure your table is as level as you can possibly make it. I have so many molds i have bought that were obviously made on an unlevel surface. Fixing them was a pain.

You have the most amazing mind to think of different things to make. I have a question for you, when you make resin things, could you put them in water after they are cured. Like putting a resin frog or turtle in a fish tank with real fish?
