You inspired me so much. I like the simplified technique! I’ve watched several of your videos. I went to Amazon and ordered Aussie Floetrol. I also have jo Sonja and liquitex. My grandson and I did a beach scene! I used American Floetrol and got almost no special cells or lacing! But it does look pretty cool! He’s so excited but I was Determined to push the limits and I hope to get the desired results! My Floetrol comes the 24th! Fingers crossed. I really appreciate your hard work. Take Care! Tammy, thank you for the details on the basic recipe. I have been collecting paints to use in fluid art but have been really nervous about actually using them. I’ve seen so many different recipes out there it has really been confusing, which only increased my fear factor. This video so helped me understand the basics. I’m back to being excited about trying fluid art.

Thank you so much. I had no idea about this method of mixing. I just created a piece using Pouring Masters Fluid and Floetrol and it was so nice and smooth and quick. Thank you for this tutorial.

I am a beginner and list in so many different paints and recipes. This is like you came to my home and thought me. One at a time. I use KS resin as well.

The cells are outrageous with the swipe. Looks more like aussie than American floetrol. Beautiful

So true. I've used a lot of variations on the pouring medium (homemade and store bought) but always find myself moving back to US Floetrol. It's cheap and I achieve fantastic results. I've yet to try Aussie yet, but look forward to it. Sometimes, I spritz the cup with a bit of water to loosen but that's usually after a day of sitting in the cup.

Your videos are helpful in a way others aren't. You're specific and explain why you do the things you do and how things differ depending on the technique. I appreciate your help as I am a beginner to all this. Also I'm loving the black with those bright colors! I need some black light reacting colors!
