Neither guy needs to fight again, Chandler is just waiting so he can cash out and retire. He's not interested in a title run, so then why would he be taking any other fights right now? As a fight fan, I want to see exciting fights. Shocking that a fight fan is tired of hearing about fights that take years to materialize, if the fights materialize at all. That's an extremely low iq take that someone who's not a professional athlete and not rich can't have an opinion on professional athletes. These athletes compete in a public forum knowing they will be watched and scrutinized by millions. We fans, directly and indirectly, pay the salaries of these professional athletes. I doubt Chandler will take a lot of damage. He's not going to be rematched against gaethje, Oliveira or Dustin who already beat him. UFC will probably rehabilitate him the best you can in a shoot sport. They already tried it once successfully with tony Ferguson.

It was a hard sell at 303 but I bought the event. However after the fights fall out and the massive years of waiting it’s just not what anyone wants to see give connor a new fight

Yeap. So many people get the original phrase wrong. It became so prevalent that they start to believe and argue that their "I could care less" version was the correct phrase

they also told us they were going to fight at ufc 300. i'm also tired of this, and would be happy to see mcgregor retire.

Yeah, for Chandler is the only thing I care, and it could be an interesting fight. I'm wondering if part of the train wreck with Dana was Conor mentioning he only had two fights left on his contract. That tells me what I suspected he wants to go fight gimmick fights like Nate's doing for big money. Heck maybe there's some money in that Manny thing. I doubt it's that much. The Conor red panty magic is about one fight from dying. Everyone knows it. Unless he comes out on fire and wins big. I never thought it likely he would beat Chandler just as I think it unlikely Chandler would beat the top four lightweights. He'd give them a fight. He'd ding them but that seems to be the ceiling he's hit and he's not a young fighter.

I always knew Uncle Chael was one of the smartest Americans to ever exist - THANK YOU for using the phrase correctly and understanding the meaning and semantics - "I could NOT care less" - Uncle Chael one of the few americans smart enough to say that phrase correctly. ...turns out nothing else he said in this video was correct, but I still admire him for being american but getting the phrase correct.

I would say that Red Panty Night for the first time is no longer real and if you buy a ticket because you're expecting to see him fight again, you're a huge sucker. He burnt the community and I feel only the casuals will show up for him next time.

Chandler and Connor are both very entertaining fighters and it would be an awesome match up. Connor will never be at the level he once was, but IF he actually cares and trains properly he could have a few more fights and wins over lower level completion if he humbles himself a bit

With all the fight cancellations, dodging, and weight cutting fails, at what point does Professionalism enter the discussion of P4PGOAT? Ex. Jon Jones, fighter 10/10, pro athlete, 10/10, champion 2/10 he was a not professional in how he carried that belt at all. Khabib, fighter 4/10, pro athlete, 7/10, champion 10/10 never missed weight, never crashing cars etc. GSP fighter 7/10, pro athlete 9/10, champion 9/10 ( i wasnt a fan of how he only came back to beat bisbing, would have respected if he took it from Silva in the prime time) but these are just examples

I don't think Conor is done. Conor probably made more money in that Mayweather boxing match than his entire UFC career. Saudi Arabia has infinite money to give out to WWE, UFC, Francis, Conor , boxing , til the end of time So no, he's not done.
