This performance with the band A-Studio was to celebrate their 20th anniversary. The song was originally sung by their lead singer Batyrkhan Shukenov who died in 2015. Dimash sang it softly as a mark of respect, and it was similar to how the original song went but with several different vocals. Then he switches to the trademark Dimashisms, he wrote the entire spectacular ending. That last part with all the runs and riffs was 24 seconds long. He has several songs that stay very mellow without going into his super high registers. They are beautiful as well. His voice is just so amazing to get lost in, as you say.
