yeah. I found the Lego Icons castle had a lot of repetition for the battlements, and I even get annoyed at having to do X-Wing wings and engines and stuff. this is just insane...

It may not have been a fun build but it was the funniest review yet, just packed with great movie references. Really funny Tiago! I'll be skipping this one.. but I'll get the Spiderman set if I can just think of a place to display it 😀

Great review. Loved how managed to fit in so many Captain America references into the script. Genius!

Honestly, I think it's fitting that a build centered around Cap would be like this. It tests your resolve, which makes a soldier, not strength.

Personally I would much rather build the globe despite the repetition. Displays better, and is somewhat functional. I think for the value and build the Thor's hammer is a much better experience all around. I'm okay on passing entirely on this. I didn't count, but noticed quite a few Captain America quotes.

I'm glad went with white instead of grey or silver, it makes this more of a general Captain America shield instead of just focused on the MCU, even with the minifig and the branding.

Then they shouldn't reference the MCU shield and Cap, but they do it on the box and the set's plaque and Minifig

Just seeing the thumbnail made me think, "Globe." 🤣 But at least there was some variation with the segments, and in the end, it was so satisfying to me that I actually built it correctly. 😆 I actually don't mind repetitive builds too much; I set up a little "assembly line" and find it somewhat relaxing.

It needed a way to mount on a wall. Something secure since it's so heavy. I think there's a way to mount two rods on the wall, to sit under those technic beams. That would work.

I absolutely love my globe, live technic and find repetitive builds therapeutic. It is quite fun but this feels like a bit much even for me :D

i've even seen it as low as 150 euros, for that price (especially including some of the parts in there) this might be the ultimate parts pack for moc builders.

Maybe the weight was a factor when they considered adding it. I'm more surprised that they didn't include a way to attach the shield to the back of the stand somehow. It looks really unstable with what's in the box.

I feel like the minifig is sort of a 'damned if you do, damned if you don't' situation. Include an exclusive one and have people complain about it being behind the paywall of an expensive, kinda dull set or include a standard one found in other sets and have people complain it isn't special enough for the price.

I think for a repetitious build like this with little or no specialised/exclusive pieces (other than the plaque? I assume), an exclusive minifig would be totally justified for the pricetag hahaha I think even ardent objectors to lego locking away exclusive minifigures behind massive paywalls would agree - there needs to be a reward for such a boring build 😂

While this is a nice display piece building the thing was such a repetitive pain since I was running out of room placing everything on the table I was building on so I had to start placing stuff on a chair so I could keep some space open for building the elements

For $10 more, you can get the Black Panther bust and gloves on sale. Pretty sure $210 is the final price since it's now in the Last Chance section on the Lego shop with such a heavy discount.

It seems like one of those things that’s good on paper but not in reality. Looks neat though

My autistic brain loved doing this build. My wife did help out with the multi bag parts in the end, but that was due to my poor posture and wanting to finish it the same night. I love the piece. When it was first leaked I did not really like it. But the box really doesn`t do it any justice. Great piece for the price and looks really nice in my living room. I did however change the stand a little bit so that it leans backwards a little more. It felt better that way.

This is truly 'Lego Hell'.......in every way possible, not just the build. Price, and end the final result as well. This is a new level of ridiculous Lego. Way to niche'. Only Marvel fanboy/brickheads will be interested. I'm guessing they won't sell many of these..... Wait......Marvel......Cap.....Fanboys.........brickheads.......Ahhhh Christ. They are gonna sell a ton of these. It reminds me of when I see an ugly car.....'At least I don't have to drive it.' This set is my first official....'Well, I don't have to build it.' Love you and the channel TC. You Are my go-to-Lego-guru.

I just wish it was smooth rather than studded.

Guess fans are gonna have to wait for the 2000 piece replica of Captain America's ass to get it in LEGO form, hopefully it'll be wall mountable

Lol! Wow. I feel kinda bad for you. It looks good, though!

I think some repetition in LEGO can be good. Saturn V had quite a lot of it and it still was one of the coolest LEGO experiences I had. This thing, however? NO.

At least it is better than barely pixel paint.

I know I am by far the minority. But repetition is all good for me haha. I like listening to podcasts while I build. It's all about piece count hahaha. I don't collect minifigures either so this is kinda perfect. I honestly don't really care for marvel too much but I might build this anyway.

I've just seen the scariest video about Lego of all time. You should have saved it for Halloween. Yikes. The only remark I have: On the picture the white looks gray, but on the picture it's dirt. Small detail. Now I'm going to try to sleep. But I think I will need my Teddy because I'm affraid there is a sertain Lego set and/or instructionbooklet under my bed or in the closet. Yes, I knew I was warned so you won't find lawyers in reaction. However, meaby if I see a star falling I'll wish you make this set non stop for... well lets be kind... 48 hours. With no breaks. And the tempo must be constant. Nah, that's too evil. I mean: You had to build this allready 1,5 time.

You know, Lego can’t only be painful when you walk on them…

The Nano Gauntlet has been the only one of this marvel series I thought worth it. Honestly that thing has a cool design but is barely featured in Lego

At that price just get a metal one 😂

The pieces are dirt cheap and do not really have an impact on price. Those few built sets i have seen (3) all had the problem that the rubber pieces used for the star all had shown marks from the other parts in the bags. Why does Lego choose to show the marvel-movie version that is all metallic and scratched up, and then build a version were the colors don't match at all? The all colors should have been metallic and the blue/red would have needed to be darker. Or just got with the comic-version that really is just bright red + blue + white. The price is not that bad for Lego at least, but it is not fun to build and if you want to have a Captain-Shield you can get more faithful replicas for cheaper (from Disney even). But a good Set for Lego if you wanna have the parts.

White is the comic book version. This looks like the comic book version.

I can't imagine doing the same thing over and over again for 18 times and yet on the next page it says do the same for another 30+ times So it's an easy pass for me

Yeah, this is probably what I think LEGO is the worst for. This type of big, round, symmetrical objects. I have built both the Eiffel Tower, and the Titanic, so I am used to building big, parts intensive, builds, but this set just seems so mind numbingly boring. I have been looking at the colosseum, but I kinda think it might have the same problem.
