Well, when my husband wants chicken, I raise a baby chick until it's big enough to eat. Go out and butcher it myself, including plucking the feathers ect. Then I season it and fry it myself. He does have to ask several months in advance but it's made from scratch, with love and an apron! Making burgers takes alot longer though.😅😂😂

I keep up my house and babysit kids from church almost daily as well as teaching classes in the homeschooling collective my church hosts. Definitely not rich, but we budget and manage well. It's not as impossible as everyone seems to think it is. And my husband certainly isn't some helpless toddler. He's a hard-working man who provides for me, and I provide for him.

Unless you have endless energy and need no time for yourself of course. Also, their kitchens look like they barely see use. I’m glad someone on KZread appreciates stay at home moms. I was one for 33 years. My sons loved and appreciated that I was home for them, they still say it to this day. Have a budget of $190 a month for food and it’s been a huge struggle. Still have a week left to get through. It can be incredibly stressful. As an added bonus I got something called Bell’s palsy last week from stress and half my face is now paralyzed. Gotta fukin love life. One day at a time I guess! Love your videos you crack me up ❤

5lb bag of rice, canned beans, frozen veggies, big box of oatmeal or grits, and if I ate meat, I would go to the butcher/ meat house buy 10lb of chicken. Have the butcher chop it up very small. I promise it's enough for the whole month. Ask family and friends to donate.

Some people in these comments can’t take a joke and it shows 😭 We should be allowed to poke a little fun at someone who makes their children wait (possibly) hours to eat just because they want to make things from scratch! (No hate to the original girl though. That’s how she chooses to live her life, and if it works for her then great 👍 I just personally dislike the idea of forcing small children to go hungry for extended periods of time since nutrition is extremely important when children are young.)

@@gothcsmI’m from a family that cooked everything from scratch and I’m honestly grateful I didn’t grow up eating the frozen crap you grew up on that you somehow think is more nutritious than a home cooked meal. Kids from families that cook don’t sit around starving.
