Some people just have excellent spatial reasoning skills and don't need any fancy CNC machines. I've ground a rod for an 0.010 over bearing by hand with a file and crocus cloth and the car is still going strong 14 years later. I'm definitely impressed by LeDan's work but it is also something I could do myself if I were determined to do so. I've been toying with the idea of making a pushrod boxer twin using aircraft engine cylinders. Would probably use Lycoming O-235 parts for a displacement of 117.5 ci, along with a blower, and put it in a drag bike to go up against Harleys.

Well, now the front cylinder cam chain tensioner is on the wrong side (tension side) since the additional crank is rotating backwards. In addition to that, the rear cylinder and its head lack cooling and the front cylinder has intake and exhaust ports reversed and those are not fully equal either. So this is a nice construction, but has some issues.

pretty sure at this point the front oil pump is pumping in the wrong direction aswell it seems very few people have noticed these points im gonna say the balancing of this engine isnt great aswell we are looking at some moto gp tech with the counter rotating crank this will help with keeping the front wheel on the ground lol

@@stuartlawson9119he did something with the oil pump and I thought he might have reversed the flow direction by changing the hole positions...however i did not check that
