Tracy Meadows seriously.... where I fish in "central Georgia" it is so thick that if you don't "underhand pitch" you are somewhere in a dang pine tree or scrub brush.... I could've bought a boat with all of the lures I lost before I figured that out 😂🤣😄🤣😅

Richard: you better be real careful on those rocks. About 2 months ago I was climbing a bank of big rocks when my foot stuck between two of them. I lost balance and fell backwards down the hill onto a big Boulder flat on my ribs breaking two of them. I really thought I was going to die right there. No one around. I lay there screaming in pain for a good 20 minutes. And just now healed up

I bought the very same version of this rod, 10 feet, to use the same way you're doing right now. There are a few areas around me that I know this technique is a killer on. I call them my secret honey holes for a reason and watching you're videos make me just chomp at the bit even more to get to them but it's still winter where I'm from even though the calendar says otherwise.

Richard!!! Hope all is well on the homestead my friend. I just love my 8 ft " tree dipper" B&M BGJP IM6 2 piece graphite rod with a LSD400 Lews Speed Spool and 8 lb Hi-Vis mono. You would think a big goofy rod that big would be clumsy and not be effective. It's like a feather. But recently I've gotten a hold of a Boyd Duckett Crappie Slayer that blows it away!!! Artic White One piece 6ft light to light-medium action, large line guides & same Lew's Speed Spool reel on the B&M. The Duckett CS rod is perfectly balanced and waay lighter than that buck's pole I favor so much. most sensitive rod I've ever held. Very affordable quality gear for under $60, it's landed a few 20 lb cats, countless huge crappie, bream, bass and about every other species of fish AL has. Highly recommended one or more.
