He was a great performer/singer

There have been many musical legends, many talented singers/musicians/songwriters. But there has never been anyone more talented than the man Sinatra labeled "the only true genius in our business." Remembering Brother Ray on his 93rd birthday..we cant stop loving him.

Saw him on the odeon in liverpool in th 60s near the front 'stage.He was young then but what a great voice with so much feeling.

Two legends back there , Susaye Green and Mable John loud and very clear.

I hope people take intrest in these master piece of music, and compare them to the garbage I heard playing sometimes.

it might sound weird but I am 65 and this is the first song I remember hearing.

My mom told me when I was a little boy I used to stand up in my crib and imitate Ray Charles by singing this song it’s had a big impact on my life forever God bless you Ray Charles

He did as much for country music as anyone has ever done. Modern Sounds in Country & Western Music in 1962 may be the most important country album ever. It also did a huge amount for his career. Supremely talented.

The genius of Ray Charles’ voice is that he could sing the alphabet, and it would be haunting, and soulful. Every utterance he makes in this song , and those of the Raelettes, is melodious, and can bring a tear to your eye. Amazing.
