@@x0vien yeah in the usa its 1500 dollars (1300 euros) but in europe it costs 2500 euros idk why
Okay, if this thing is seriously just 1.500,00 bucks, this is INSANE. I was already super pumped for the Lenovo Dual Screen Laptop, but it still costs more than 2.000 bucks for MUCH WORSE specs, I just couldn't justify that thing to myself. But if this thing really launches at that price... I am so taking the plunge!

I can be configured up to 32gb DDR5, 2TB SSD and Up to Intel® Core™ Ultra 9 processor with NPU
I completely agree with Austin's last sentence. I've never been that interested in the dual screen laptops or even touch screen laptops at all because for me the laptop form factor just works really well but this genuinely looks really fantastic and if it does come out with that $1,500 price tag I might be tempted to buy my first Windows computer in a while.

Windows has 80% laptop market share AND 99.9% of small business, corporations, educaitonal institutions, government agencies, and nonprofit across the planet use Windows laptops. So Intel and Microsoft don't really care about you or Austin's out-of-touch opinions...
Considering there are $1200-1500 phone, here we are getting laptop on that price is really a good deal.

That's because this laptop is NOT a foldable laptop like the Asus Zenbook 17 Fold which costs $3,500 MSRP. 🤣🤣🤣
I wanna see someone emulate DS or 3DS games on this.

Exactly what I was thinking
I would really love this laptop. The lenovo one didn't interest me too nuch because of the lack of trackpad and the stand is different. But this, this has everything built-in. I can use it whenever I want to as a normal laptop and when I am at my desk at work, I can go dual screen.
Kinda neat, especially with the kickstand. Wish you could adjust the hinge down when the keyboard isn't there
Ken is genius for that coffee shop setup
This is amazing. I love it. It’s a split screen pad. Brilliant
I can see myself using this at the office or at home when I want a second screen. The thing for me is that I have a dual screen setup with a separate monitor at home and at my office. My second screen is 27 inches. So I don't know where this might fit in with me personally. I would probably use it in normal laptop mode on a plane or in a coffee shop. This is why I love my Zenbook Duo with an extra half screen. It's always in regular laptop mode and yet I always have a second screen. But for content creators, I can see this being awesome.
I was not interested in this laptop until you made the virtual keyboard pop up lol that was actually really cool lookin to me. Gave me Tony Stark vibes. A glass future.

3 vids in 2 in a half days??? Austin you're not d**ng are you?!! 😭😭🤣❤️❤️😍😍 Love you guys
Are you going to do a 2024 pc build like the past couple years? I really enjoyed them and they help give me ideas for the future.
Amazing for designers and traders not for everyone or normal use, Love it
5:28 Yooooo smart man! Oh I’m definitely getting this now. Looks like a nice travel laptop as long as you know you can plug it in somewhere or bring a large charge pack. Trading stocks on this, coding, working on wed sites, blogging, and some photo editing. This would be awesome!
When will this laptop finally actually be able to purchase ? If of course been announced !
Woaw Its like Yoga Book 9i with Dual Screen Laptop!!! So Many Alternatives Nowadays!!! 👍🏻😃👍🏻
The moment when Austin took it out of the cardboard box I thought he unboxed a PS4 😂
As someone that uses a fold phone this is right up my alley
I hope more companies make a laptops like this, it’s a fantastic innovation and it’s be great to have something like this for different ecosystems.

Wow. I’m definitely buying this thing.
I have prepared myself to purchase the latest Surface Pro... But this ***** got released with a 1500 price tag (pen included). Now I gotta wait more. dang
Nice review! Do you know how many external monitors can I connect using a Thunderbolt 4 dock + the HDMI out?
Zenbook hitting all the cuties today
Is the first display a touch screen regardless of what mode it's in?
I think the base price at 1500 is much better with lower resolution knowing both model has integrated gpus.
I am a radiologist. This is perfect for giving initial readings on the go. Alternatives: laptop and external monitor. Suggestions for improvement: maybe a horizontal fold would be more functional. Please correlate clinically.

Do we have the option to turn off the second display when detaching the keyboard? I prefer the laptop aligned with our eyesight
When will it be available in the market? Anyone?

I'm convinced this is the future of laptops
Shouty man does it fold up with the keyboard attached?
That laptop is 🔥🔥🔥🔥 If I didn't have a gaming PC, I'd buy that
That looks so cool
This is gonna sell out super fast
I need this Laptop RN.
What is battery life likein each of these modes?
[Slams on desk] "I need to be careful with this". Are you trying to channel Linus?
Do this Intel arc has own gb just for graphic and do you think 4K Video Editing is possible or is it to Hard for this Notebook/graphic Card ?
This is amazing 🙂
Asus is pushing this new laptop pretty hard. I also saw a product review from Linus (LTT) and Lew Later - all within a day or so.
this is how my dell laptop is with an extra screen, mine was $1500 like 2yr ago, I much prefer this laptop!
If I could I'd like this a million times. Now to convince the boss that I need a new machine without giving up my surface.
Can I connect two of these laptops to each other and have 4 monitors working remotely?
This time of year is really weird with you and Linus being on the same schedule
The lack of dedicated GPU is my problem. I have the zen book Pro duo 14” and I mistakenly got it with the integrated graphics and it makes a difference.
Can you make a video how to trouble shoot the double that does not work?
Austin and Linus must have called each other to drop their videos at the same time

Thumbs up for Lego Austin...ohh boy!
Only Thing I do not get is why not make it 360degree foldable? The setup is perfect for it and it would turn it from a really great laptop idea to an immediate buy for me. having 2 touch screens that I can use in pyramid mode or even tablet mode would be perfect, for work as well (i.e. showing something to a colleague when no screen is available or even F2F co-working on something...) Maybe 2025 😢
that is a cool looking tab/laptop
I hope this will be an amazing editing laptop
the one in 2023 (pro) was a catastophe in software
looks great for 3ds emulation
Thx for sharing.....just picked up this and the Yoga Book. The Yaga book displays looked better to me. Plus the monotony of the ALL black color scheme just killed it for me. The Yoga Book looks much nicer in the polished blue. I love Asus but the Duo looks like every other black laptop on the market. Lol......this a slightly different concept and one that Lennovo should highlight aesthetically.
Best ad for a laptop I've ever seen.
ds or 3ds emulation on this thing should be super cool
tfw the embargo lifts
What is the model number? I want one!
I take a second screen when I travel, and many hotels have tiny desks so it's a problem to use. This completely solves the problem. I kinda wish the monitors would separate so I could draw on one while using the laptop, but I'ma gonna just shut up about that because it's already DAYAM! I got a 2021 Zephyrus G14 that I thought would last me 5 years, but I might get this. I just built a new gaming desktop so I dedicated the G14 to business so I don't need it for gaming, which it did OK (Starfield played very well on medium settings, which I attribute to only 6GB RAM on the 3060). I'd definitely find a way to buy this, especially 32GB RAM. The 16GB in the G14 is sometimes insufficient, and with 8GB soldered in, raising it above 16GB means losing dual channel for at least part of it, negating much of the benefit of more.
Would it be possible to attach an external GPU for gaming?
I love it but need to see how it handles linux
If this can game well, then this is the portable setup of my dreams.

Well, as for the downsides, the hinge cannot be folded 360º (only 180º), so it cannot be used in tablet mode (for those of us who work standing and on the move with a computer, it's not suitable) or tent mode. Additionally, the sound from the speakers is quite shoddy, and when it's in book mode, the two screens are unbalanced, as it leans more on one side than the other. In that regard, the rear stand (although it assembles faster - 5 seconds faster - compared to the origami stand of the Lenovo Yoga Book 9i) is quite inferior. Besides, the Asus is a bit of a monstrosity in height, with a keyboard or without, and quite ugly (comparatively speaking). In landscape mode, the top screen vibrates too much when tapping it with fingers. I'm afraid the hinge is weaker than the Lenovo one. Regarding the keyboard, it is good and comes with a trackpad. This didn't matter much to me with the Lenovo (that the keyboard came without a trackpad) because, firstly, it could be placed on the lower screen, and a total trackpad from side to side appeared. If I buy a touchscreen, it's because fingers do everything the trackpad does better and faster. On the contrary, Asus screens are 14" instead of 13.3", with an option for 3K. On the small screens above the virtual keyboard, there are more application options; it has more connectivity (with HDMI, USB-A, and Jack, which Lenovo doesn't have, and personally, I haven't used for a long time as cables tangled and bothered me), and the processor is faster (although the new Lenovo Yoga Book 9i from CES 2024 has already matched it), as well as memory and storage options. In Spain, for now, there is only one pre-order option for €2599 (32GB of memory and 2TB SSD with a 3K resolution), although it seems that more economical options will be available (lower screen resolution, less memory, and less SSD). I see the Lenovo more for students, teachers, multimedia consumption, office work, and browsing, while the ASUS is more for design, gaming, video editing, and some professional tasks. As always, each person should think about what they want a computer for and choose accordingly.
You forgot the Xperia Play in your all portable playstations video (it is a phone made by Sony using the PSP Go as its predecessor using the same sliding mechanism but also being able to play PS1 games but not any PSP games)
The 7 version that officially got released for pre order today doesn't have the 120hz, 3k screens. Only the 9 does
Asus could adopt Frore Systems's Airjet cooling to cramp more powerful hardware in this laptop, as for the OLED screen, it is an ideal for content creators to showcase their works.
If I hadn't bought a laptop less then 3 years ago I would think about probably picking this up
I want to jump in but need to wait for ARM to catch up
Awesome innovation that has a lot of value.
Can't wait to get myself one. For $1,500 this is dirt cheap compared to other productivity laptops

In Canada its $2499 plus 13% taxes
anyone seen folks using these duel screens in cafes yet?
Normal people heard 6 fingers: okay 3 + 3. Austin: let me do 5 + 1 😂😂😂
But will it play doom?
that pretty cool got to say
Already have a 4090 desktop and a 4090 laptop. This looks perfect to be a 3DS emulator.
Seems pretty good for the price, although I would like to know if it can run CAD programs well like Fusion360, Solidworks or Blender. If it can run that stuff smoothly with a couple other programs in the background like youtube and Teamspeak i'm sold. One other thing that would super nice if it's implemented, would be the ability to plug in a mouse to the usb c port of the keyboard while it is in wireless mode, maybe with a usb c splitter to allow you to charge the board while using a mouse.

Its got ARC graphics which do have ray tracing capabilities. Probably not the best as a rendering unit vs traditional desktops and more powerful laptops. I would like to see performance tests!
I want this right now
So… can it run Adobe Premiere?
I want it f9r gaming but my first thought is battery life I have asus ROG i have trouble getting even 2 hours of game play on the road. A deal breaker for me will be battery life
Can it be used for a proper 3DS emulation?
Can you believe this is cheaper than the galaxy fold 5, that's wild

So, it's like 2 tablets with a hinge.... And a skinny lightweight (probably membrane) keyboard? Know what... I honestly kind of like it.
3ds emulation would be insane on this thing
1500$ for this is absolutely insane, how with 2 screens it is 1500. I would love to have one in BD. But if it comes in Bd it will be at least 4000$ by startech and Ryan.
I will definitely buy... with extended warranty. I have a zenbook, and after a year, the second screen dies on me
You don't need a stand "it falls off"
thats really cool and for only 1500$!!? thats awesome. if i have the money would get one
