Zenbook DUO 2024 - Every other Laptop looks Boring

Ғылым және технология

The Zenbook DUO takes the normal formula of a dual screen laptop and makes the format not only exciting but also super useful. Its so adaptable and well focused towards mobile productivity that it ends up making all other Windows laptops look a bit....boring.

    We can only wait and see. The Surface pro still destroys them when it comes to pen support. Plus they'll be using ARM processors now, meaning better power efficiency compared to x86.

  • @altairquten

    @altairquten

    This obviously depends on what you're doing exactly, but I'll need my x64 hardware and the pen experience will be bad anyway, because of the weak software that you might use. Pens and Windows are still weird in my experience. So I'll take that compromise to gain one full size screen and a wireless keyboard, especially at that proposed price. The Surface objectively loses this battle. and I couldn't imagine actually switching from the MS devices for the last decade, as the versatile formfactor did pretty much everything for me. Running virtually any piece of software, emulation, drawing, writing, gaming and so much more. Not to mention all the problems ARM and Windows still bring, but I'll not open that can of worms, right now. All of these things are highly individualistic and I'm sure there'll be a nice new device for almost anyone!@@Laughing_Individual

    This is the ULTIMATE thin-n-light notebook. The power, connectivity,, featureset, build quality, AND pricing are ALL great. Not insanely amazing, but just really fucking solid. For a completely new kind of mobile device, that's incredibly hard to pull off on the first generation - especially with pretty much zero problems. Well done.

    This is the second time I see Lenovo making a new laptop design and then Asus comes a year later with the same design but refined a little bit and content creators always react as if they have never seen something like this or as if this was kind of a new innovation or something.

    well it is in my opinion better designed and user friendly than Lenovo's considering the keyboard doesn't need bluetooth when attached, has more key travel and the hinge isn't an origami toy, and they got an hdmi port, but yeah Lenovo did it first and it was great.

    @@adamyung5426 ok so are you justifying the choice to omit relevant info? It's not about which one is better. It's about accurate reporting. How do you "spend responsibility" when you're misled?

    The screens are 60hz and not 120hz. 120hz is available in the Asus Zenbook single only. I have an ultra 5 125H version 16gb ram 1tb ssd.

    I LOVE this laptop, but I don't think I would be buying one, for I won't be able to afford it at the moment, and second I feel that the userbase for it is very, very niche.

    Battery watt-hours? The 155h datasheet shows a fair beast of a thing, but it also has a fair beastly power consumption even at minimal levels, plus those two screens are going to be two extra light bulbs to power.
