This is great! Everybody else gets it wrong and use a D instead of a Dsus2. This sounds so much better!!!

Simple? Does this mean it was simplified from the original? Anyway it’s a well done lesson :) I shall work on it just after I finish the lead in a few days . Greetings from Brussels

Simply meaning, in this case, an acoustic arrangement with the lead integrated with the strumming.

I just tried to explain the riff in the tutorial. Left the basic chords for the full play along.

Just follow the pictures on the screen! That's a different part of the song, but it's ALL there.
Can you explain the rythm please ? Is it always 3 down 1 up while changing between all chords?
Так школьник может брянькать!!!! Нооо молодец❤!!!!

I have played it live a few times, I'll add it to the list.
Hello, great tutorial, I just wonder if you could help me, I got the part from Emaj to Dsus2 but then I get lost because I see you do some strumming again on Dsus2 onto the Amaj and open, I can't get the right melody so if you could just tell me how much times are you strumming on Dsus2 before going to Amaj, thanks in advance! 😃
@SimplyAcousticLessons
2 жыл бұрын
So after playing the A major chord, I hit the Dsus2 with the upstroke, then a pause (or muted strum) then Dsus2 down up, A major up down, and a final upstroke with open strings.

Are you using a metal stringed or nylon acoustic. I like the sound of the metal, but it really hurts my fingers. Could it be played with a nylon stringed guitar? Thanks.
@SimplyAcousticLessons
Жыл бұрын
It's a steel string, but yes it could be played on a nylon string. Won't have the same 'rocky' sound though.

Who these "Rolling Stones" you talk about? They're pretty good
I can play upto D sus2 but after that the strumming pattern in a bit confusing. Can you please explain it a bit more
@ralfybaby
5 ай бұрын
Late response but keep your strumming hand going up and down and hit the chord where it's supposed to be, some will be up and some will be down and it will sound great!

@@ralfybaby thank you 🙏 sir
Not sure about the D sus 2, just seems so unnecessary when can just use the A sus 4? Also the singer is defiantly no Mick Jagger for sure! Lol
Кстати, гитара звучит классно. Строит. И видать струны новые.

i find your tutorial very amazing, but there is one thing confusin me a bit: after switching to Dsus and strumming one time, we back to Emaj immediately right, or play Amaj and back to the start
@SimplyAcousticLessons
3 жыл бұрын
That's right, you go to Amaj before going back to the start. Basically the B string is following the bass line.
@jeffro.

👍🤘
according to keith richards you only need 3 strings to play any song! 🤷♂️🤔👍
You are INCORPORATING the main riff that Keith Richards plays INTO the Rhythm part. Don't get me wrong, what you are playing sounds good but it is NOT the actual part that Brian Jones played on the record or that he played live.
