Amazon sells realistic animal eyes. I buy the 6mm size and they fit perfectly. Takes them up a notch. One of my best sellers.😊

First time watching you. I've been watching tons of resin videos and only tried a few resin projects so far. I think you did a fabulous job on this little guy! I love your little frog. Absolutely gorgeous! New subscriber here. Also, I’m so sorry to hear about your lung damage. I really appreciate your tutorials even though you struggle to talk. My doctor got lung damage from COVID so bad that it ruined her health. She had to retire on permanent disability. She was young too. Thanks so much for what you do.

It turned out great! To unmold easier, try using a liquid dish (fairy) soap & water mixture and submerge the mold in it while pulling the sides open and squishing it around a bit. Take it out and it's much easier to unmold stuff. Helps break the seal and lubricates the removal of the molded resin piece.

16:13 next time maybe make a small dam with UV resin? I've seen that done a few times, and it seems to work well. Though I always remember after the need for it. 😅

Thank you for your input. I wasn't planning on putting anything in the legs until just before I began recording. A UV dam would have made things a lot easier.

I have seen everyone do this frog BUT you did it BEST!

You can put his feet back in the mold and just pour the missing toes. That would make him perfect. Very pretty and would love to see one in a dark green shimmer resin. If you try again.

I've got this mould, it's lovely, bit of a pain getting out but once you get the hang of it, I spray a drop of alcohol into it to lose the last bits. My sons nickname when he was little was toady, I made this frog and put it on his grave but I think I might try this and swap it out for the one he's got which is a galaxy mica powder. It beautiful but this frog is stunning

The embossing was very subtle, but is noticeable in person. The gemstones were a last minute idea, they are just purple rhinestones. Thank you for watching and happy crafting.
