My one quibble is that rubber bullets are *NO* joke. They're a slug of metal coated in rubber. People can and do die from "safe" bullets all the time. There's *ZERO* reason an officer at any sporting event ever is holding a gun loaded with rubber bullets.

A second division club, Corvinul, beating the team that finished 2nd in Hungarian league 4-0 away in the Europa League qualifiers might be worth a mention on this channel. I'm pretty sure they're the only second division club in the whole competition, qualified by virtue of winning the national cup. Might also be worth mentioning that they would've been promoted last season if not for a law in Romania that prevents publicly owned clubs from playing in professional competitions. Despite the fact that (a) for some reason only the top football league is considered "professional", even though handball, volleyball or basketball leagues (for example) are de facto professional, with some publicly owned teams in those sports having budgets that rival top league football teams and that (b) everybody knows that many (most?) of the so called "private" clubs in the top football league receive or have received in recent years public funding, with some being controlled by public (state) entities, despite legally having private status. The same law also prevented Steaua Bucharest from being promoted two seasons ago and there are currently four clubs (I think) that cannot be promoted unless they jump through legal hoops to, essentially, artificially convert to being "private" clubs.

Our police is akin to america's police in the sense that the color of one's skin is gonna determine how polite/respectfull they are. I can see how it is "funny" to someone outside of brazil, but this is as absurd as the racism amercan's suffer on a daily basis, it is very sad to say the least, that we have to deal with this criminal behavior. I've worked with people who should be being rehabilitated by the state that had their families blackmailed by police officers, young girls whose crime was to steal something minor, or even just being in the wrong place/time being abused sexually by the officers, a young man whose teeth were all, and I do mean ALL, taken out, that was too scared to request dentures because he had no idea what they would do to his family. There was one in particular who was GUNNED DOWN by a policeman using a MACHINE GUN, his body was moved somewhere else to make it seem like he was trying to commit crimes, when one of the workers of the institution had personally taken the boy near the entrance of his home, and there would not be enough time for him to go to the other side of the city to be gunned down. The workers had access to the video that was made when he was killed in an alley because someone was filming it. There were workers that were constatly tailed by policemen and sometimes approached and threatened openly and their "crimes" were simply to aid this youngsters (bare in mind that, at the very least, that was their JOB). So yeah honestly, not surprising, any statement condening the police officer is likely a lie, nothing will be done to him and the goalkeeper is fucked because his crime was to be too dark skined and too loud.

Not really important, but I thought I would point this out. Rubber bullets are fired from actual shotguns. The shells can be loaded with various kinds of projectiles and varying amounts of powder charges based on the desired effective range and application.
