Beautiful Luckenbooth heart! I have found only two during my years of relic hunting here in the sandhills of North Carolina. This area was a big area for Scottish settlers.

I agree!
Love the history of the scottish broch beautiful piece.
Great idea to go back and search under logs and rocks! Also speaks highly of the Deus and it's capabilities to find all those targets on a site you have searched so many times before. Thanks for taking us along yet again! 💚
Especial thanks for the shots of flora and fauna!
It's refreshing to see a video, on metal detecting, without a bunch of drama. Also, your video quality is outstanding.
Great video as always!! Loved the fox cufflinks and the brooch. You just never know what you can find even if you go back two dozen times! Lol! Vermont is just beautiful!!
Just some food for thought regarding shotgun shells. I’ve been a hunter for over sixty years, and a metal detectorist for only almost three years. Like you, I enjoy detecting in the woods, and when I find a shotgun headstamp, I immediately begins a spiral search from the drop site. Why? Many old shotguns only held one or two shells, so once the shell was spent, it was necessary to reload, often from a jacket pocket or pouch, where other items may have been located, and may have fallen out while removing the fresh round. I have found knives, lighters and many coins in close proximity to headstamps, so I would encourage you to rethink walking away from an area because you’re finding shotgun headstamps. It takes a minute or so to spiral out to 10’ or so, just in case something else was dropped nearby. JMHO
When I saw the heart shape with a crown I thought of the Irish Claddagh symbol. A small silver charm size with a birthstone was recovered in a hunt with Quarter Hoarder this week. Great find Brad!
The Scottish brooch has such an unusual history! Excellent finds just going back over ground you've covered before, and ending with a Connecticut Copper...awesome, Brad!💖
This just goes to show you that no matter how many times an area has been detected, you still have a good chance at finding new stuff. People often pick and choose what they did based on their signals, like Bread talked about... Plus technology is getting better every day. If you have unlimited access to an area, it's almost stupid to not check every signal (no offense to anyone). And move rocks, logs, etc. Remember that a lot of those things weren't sitting there a century ago. It pays to be diligent and thorough. Nice hunt, Brad! Beautiful finds, and congratulations on the broach!
Your vids are so well crafted and you are very knowedgable regarding your finds. It's so refreshing that you don't yell and holler with each target. Here in CA there is nothing sonold, and there is always a lot of modern trash. Great hunting with you!
Brad, I watched with a lump in my throat imagining the people and there lives in an area that is now just trees and forest.. They represent the pioneers that created this great country which I fear is so threatened now. The motto of Vermont is Freedom and Unity and New Hampshire is Live free or Die. Both from pioneer states. I hope we keep our freedom and unity and live free without dying, for the sake of our children and grand children. Your discoveries set a positive example of what our past was all about, the spirit and the independence. Thank you, Frederick "Rik" Spector
The broach is very similar to my engagement/wedding ring. My husband is Irish and very much wanted me to have a traditional Claddagh ring. The heart represents love, the crown-loyalty and hands-friendship. Worn on the right hand with the point of the heart pointed away from you means you are open to love/relationship, same hand pointed in means your heart is closed, you are in a relationship, left hand pointed out you are engaged, left hand pointed in-you are married. Very beautiful sentiment in these tokens.
A great find. Such an early part of American History an its people.Congrats and thank you for bringing us along, Vermont is a beautiful state.
Watching this episode reminds me of a very trite saying, “ dig it all.” Great finds. Thanks for the history. I never knew why they were called a Tom-back button. The love token brooch is spectacular.

@@mrychards6682 Thanks for the spelling. I really didn't know about that particular button and have heard it spoken about for many years. I love learning from these programs. Truly
Seriously, every time I watch one of your videos I die a little inside. What I wouldn’t give to have the opportunity to go out where you are able to go. You are living the life!!
Happy days are here again! I love visiting the woods and old homesteads with you!
The silver heart could make a great gift for your lovely wife with some help. Glad you had a great day. Your videos are always interesting. Take care. 😀
Amazing finds Brad. It’s like the Hoover boys say, dig it all and it’s never hunted out. I recently went to a site we believed was hunted out, and I found a button and an 1809 half cent. Congrats and HH from SW Vermont!
Hi Brad, wow congratulations on finding that beautiful Luckenbooth brooch, what a find. Some lovely buttons, my favourite is the one with the flower. Thank you for sharing, much love. xx 💖
Outstanding brad ! Always something to find. Always a pleasure to watch pal thanks again for taking us along
That silver heart is just precious. I am in Western Canada - it was 30 C (90F) at the beginning of the week, freezing rain and snow today. Enjoy your videos - keep up the great work!

Always amazing what new things you find at places you've been many times! But thats metal detecting.
Talleyho!!! Nice finds Brad!!
Great rainy day finds! My fathers’s ancestors immigrated from Scotland, settling in mid Vermont. So cool to see a relic related to Scotland!
That brooch is stunning. Wow. Wow. Wow!!
Aqua Chigger was just saying that most old cufflinks have a fox on them and it says tally ho, on one of his last videos. Very cool find. Awesome!
Awesome finds Brad! That Deus is a beast! LOL
And now Brad lays awake at night wondering how many other treasures he's passed over on other digs. Madness!! Great finds, maybe rain is not so bad .
Complete set of cufflinks cool. Mass of buttons. Shoe buckle pieces. That silver brooch was awesome. Nice comb piece. Nice Conn. copper. Your theory of where to search paid off.
What a great day you day. Once surprise after another. It makes you wonder what you might have missed other days at other places. Love the Connecticut Copper and the brooch.
Awesome finds Brad......!
I absolutely love the Scottish brooch and it's history .As always your the best!!!
Wow those cuff links are stunning! Unlike a lot of your finds, where local people lost useful wares, anybody who lost one of those (and had the luxury to go fox hunting) could afford to replace them.
Very cool stuff today Brad. Thanks for taking us along.
Oh wow the broach. Congratulations
Fantastic hunt! Your new machine has brought that place back to life.
Awesome finds and video, as usual. It's amazing how you can find stuff you missed by going back with different machines and conditions.
Bro what an amazing day!!! Ican't wait to get on sites where I can make some documentary style episodes too. Love your vids Happy Hunting and best of luck out there.
Wet weather is best for detecting. The signal carries much better. Great finds you have.

AUSOME finds especially the brooch! Thanks for sharing!
Awesome historical finds Brad! Gotta go back again!
Wonderful things! (to quote a certain famous archaeologist.) That brooch was an amazing find; it sent me off to read about them, and I remember seeing that sort of crown-and heart(s) design among medieval pewter pilgrim badges-- it wouldn't surprise me if it went back even further than the 1600s. So many beautiful little things today; that flowered button was just gorgeous, and I'll bet whoever lost it regretted the loss something fierce. Thanks for the video, and I hope you didn't get too soaked heading home!
Awesome! When I was younger my family lived on the side of a mountain in Sandgate/Rupert VT. I’m now planted on Cape Cod. I wish I was into metal detecting in my preteens haha! Would love to go back after watching your videos. I still have friends that own acres and acres! Great job again that broach and what a killer CT copper too, on my bucket list still!
Thank you brad .. God bless you and your family ..
