I can't believe I finally bloomed this Hoya! Hoya medinillifolia SPOTLIGHT
Guess who finally bloomed?! That's right, it is Hoya medinillifolia! I always wanted to bloom this one, and I am so happy it finally happened and it was worth the wait. I will tell you how I bloomed my plant so if you have one and haven't bloomed it yourself, you can finally do it as well!

This hoya has me gagged. I love these more upright hoyas!

I started to like them more too :) I think it would look really nice in a plant wall.
However Miro that sweater makes you look 🎉 EXTRA FANCY

Super interesting… and PRETTY💚😻🪴
I love how the peduncles form on the underside of the leaves. Very lovely.
You are The Hoya whisperer, Miro🙇♀️ Thank you for yet more informative and high quality content!! This is seriously good stuff!

Love those blooms! My cumingiana seems to grow like that too. The branches get so long and then stop and send out new branches. Hope you feel better soon! ❤
Lovely Hoya, I like the foliage and blooms!

I am glad to hear that :D I do like making them but I don't think they are very popular with many people.

I liked your idea of introducing other hoya for comparison or to illustrate a point. These types of 'showcase' videos might be more popular if viewers were aware that other hoyas would also feature in them?!?!@@BasiePlants
You too have a gread day
What a beauty!
Your room is my apartment goals. Instead I just have foliage here and there looking more a mess and less a forest

What a gorgeous hoya ❤ Since you mentioned that this must be a winter bloomer, I thought that maybe you could do a video with hoyas that in your experience/knowledge are winter bloomers. I'd love that.

🏆 you most definitely deserve a reward! Especially for teaching us all so many great tips! Thanks Miro
nice!
Congrats!🎉🎉
That is gorgeouss 😱❤
Maybe one I will admire in your collection. I do not have enough room at the present to be considering a polyneura type spreading hoya. Very beautiful flower though. It looked like it was purple.

There is also a gold one :) Both very pretty :)
Good to have you back !! Thanks for the update. Gorgeous.
Beautiful specimen ❤ I struggled with this one. Mine is down to 1 leaf but finally taking root.. I'd say moss is definitely out for this one. I did root one in perlite yes it took about a month. This one number 2 😅 Will have none of it.. It's finally in a bit of leca so fingers 🤞 I think I will add a few bits of pumice as yours seems to do so well int it. Thank you for sharing your beautiful specimen with us ❤
Wow that’s a big, beautiful Hoya, nice. 🏆🎖 Background looks good too, you are obviously enjoying your new desk! 🌿

She is quite stunning indeed :)
Miro: 1. I live in the Philippines. My Hoya medinillifolia is outside. Temps can reach as high as 36 to 37 degrees Celsius, but mine is fine. Of course, it’s not in direct sunlight. 2. I grow mine in my regular soil mix of coco peat, perlite, and bark. It’s fine.

For many I talked to, it has lost leaves at higher temperatures :) I have not exposed mine to those, as I keep it inside. Did you manage to bloom it at those temperatures? Well, cultivation outside is quite different than cultivation indoors :D I am sure someone could do away with such a mix indoors, but due to reduced airflow, the mixes tend to dry out much slower indoors. My recommendation for the mix was based on what I read experience of many was when growing this plant indoors, including Nathalie herself :)
My hoya burmanica hoya Genevive hoya super silver the are full of bloome too i have total of like 8 hoyas bloom plus my anthurium Red crystal lux gave me a inflo im so happy ❤💚💚💚

My medinillifolia dropped its buds before it could bloomed ...I wanted to cry
I am on round 3 of this hoya! Imported once and was just completely DOA. Purchased a rooted one and it spent two days in shipping - dead. 😭. I dunno why I’m bothering - I have no where to put it if it ever reaches the size of yours!
nice job with her! Btw why is she called medinilifolia? The leaves don't resemble medinilla at all...
I would like to get one, but doesn't look like it is available local to me in the States. I did a quick look see. Interesting plant, tho'.
