The all Timberwolves team knew Luka is faster than gobert (a center) and he can shoot but they let switch happen and left him by himself But either way Gobert wasn't that far from the ball, Luka is just a great shooter

I have no words for how disgustingly and unprofessionally Draymond is behaving. The fact that they give him the platform to hate on another player, and the fact that the other insecure bully Shaq is doubling in on the hate is enraging and it almost risks spoiling the atmosphere of possibly the last episodes of the show. Gotta give Kenny respect for sticking to his guns there though. Suggesting KAT would have defended that play better than Rudy is borderline braindead, and I'm also convinced that they would have then said "how can he be the DPOY if he isn't the one switching on the best player, though?". Btw, if you watch MIN games it's impossible to not perceive the impact Rudy has defensively, there are so many instances in which his mere presence discourages penetrators and cutters to even attempt a shot in the paint

Well he was crazy because at the time they had Grant Williams, Dwight Powell and Seth Curry getting major minutes. After the deadline they all got replaced by P.J. Washington and Gafford, which has really helped them.

Minnesota just beat Denver, the defending champs, three times in Denver, in the same series, a few days ago. And they barely lost to Dallas twice. They MIGHT PLAY JUST FINE IN DALLAS. A sweep is absolutely unlikely still at this point. STAY HUMBLE, MAVS FANS! Boston-Dallas Finals is likely, but Minnesota isn’t nearly out yet!

Luka has quickly become one of my favorite players these recent years. Ever since Kobe exited the league I’ve really enjoyed watching a couple players grow and get better. Giannis, SGA and Luka have been amazing these last few years.

Rare Kenny W . Rudy is the DPOY because he has the highest defensive impact on average. Teams need to play a completely different way offensively because of his presence on the floor. DPOY doesn't mean you can lock up every single player at any position, and Luka would've done that to literally any player.

You can bring the greatest defensive player in the history of basketball at his prime to guard against Luka. Luka will do the same thing to that guy too. I don’t like Rudy Gobert as a player either, but let’s not pretend that anyone in the league can ever shut a superstar down. People like Curry, LeBron, Jokic, Luka cannot be locked down. All defenders can do is try their level best. Those who say Gobert is not DPOY is not watching basketball. Players have to think twice before going for layups when Rudy is down at the post.
