Hi I’m Rick Shiels, welcome to my channel RickShielsPGAGolf. This KZread channel is designed to help you play better golf, also to help you enjoy your golf more!
I specialise in golf club reviews, golf club unboxing, golf club news, golf club head to heads, and all about golf clubs.
I also want to make you play better golf by providing coaching video on all topics about golf, how to fix your slice, fix your hook, help you drive the golf ball longer, hit your irons more pure, hit your irons closer to the hole and help you draw and fade your golf shots.
I will also help you lower your score by chipping better by stopping you duff and thin chips, pitch the ball closer and also create backspin. Also I will provide you help to putt better and hole more putts!
On this channel I also make fun and entertaining golf content based on crazy and sometimes “gimmicky” golf clubs. I like to cut through the marketing hype about products and I like to give you the honest truth about golf equipment.
If you enjoy the channel make sure you hit subscribe and also tap the notification bell so that you are always notified when I release a new video.

@@Mr.mallaer yes, and no. For players like Westwood and Cink, who have been around for 20 some years, yes they just need someone to carry and keep them mellow.. for younger tour players the insight, measurements and advice of a caddy is a major advantage. Not to mention assistance with the mental part of the game (which is huge). Plenty of examples of good young players falling after having friends/brothers caddy, while there are equally many who have taken leaps in the right direction from getting a good caddy..

Lee has practised at a range near me. One day lady came up to him and asked how his golf was coming on and he replied with the usual 'Not too bad' line. When someone asked the lady if she knew who he was she replied that she thought it was a member at Mortonhall...
Peeking in the mind of a caddie and his pro, the communication, knowledge of each other and confidence in one another’s theory of the shot and shape. Simply amazing to see the process. Thank you.
Lee is awesome for playing along with Rick for us you tubers.👍 Loved the video , thanks guys!

It’s amazing how good these guys really are. You never realise it until you seen them up close. You gotta admire the talent. Lee makes a regular pro look like a hacker.
Lee Westwood is a class act, love seeing him at the top of the leaderboards recently even if he reps a different flag. You nailed the caddy duties, hats off 🎩. Btw I’m “Barry the builder” and i appreciated that little snippet. Well done as always
I’m an American and I love these videos. I want us to win the Ryder and President cups every time. That’s said, I have a very healthy respect for stars like Lee Westwood that do things such as this. In the media you can come to see them as entitled and above people like Rick Amazing to see Lee have fun with this and participate. It seriously motivates golfers of all ages to play. Kudos to him and to Rick for doing this. I’ll watch it again and if I could give more than one like I would.
I'm from the states and Lee Westwood has always been one of my all time favorites! He hit a slump, I think around the early 2000s, and not only battled his way back but got even better than he was before the slump! He seems like an awesome guy, thank you so much! It's great when you see someone you have followed for years turn out to be a nicer guy than you thought he was! Totally awesome!!!
It makes my heart happy to hear someone call a pitch mark a “pitch mark” and not a divot 😂🤦♂️
L.W. One of my All-Time favorites. Had privilege seeing him close up at Silverado, Napa, CA about 4 yrs ago on pro-am day. Super fella. Thanks Rick!
I really like the caddy interaction because you really see how much the pros really plan their shots. They’re planning their putts from their second shots and this is all going on in fractions of seconds in their heads. Even Lee saying if you put a timer on him he’d be within fractions of second doing his routine. I know how much better the pros are than us Joe’s, but this really makes me appreciate how good they are.
I’ve had the opportunity to watch Lee on a number of videos and have found him to be engaged, entertaining and personable. What an experience for you Rick. You looked a little nervous at first but settled in after he overruled your putt suggestion. If I were you, I’d get a poster made with a picture of Lee Westwood and the caption, “Rick, you were probably right”.
