After watching the latest podcast I was thinking “yeah Rick’s confidence has skyrocketed since Grant” then I read the title of this video and go “yup. Rick’s confidence is over the moon”

And that fire is probably settling his mental game a bit because from a youtube observer that was/is clearly major issue for him, you can see the moment where the round is going to fall apart once he gets visibly frustrated

I had a 2hr studio session with James a month ago and in that time have added 20yds carry with my irons and I’m 62yrs old 😃👍. Lovely and very humble person and easy to understand his teaching methods. James does this for your swing. Mine was all over the place after an injury and he sorted it. Class played and he's exactly like you see him here. Funny and generous.. loves his cars and planes .. you are so at ease with him ... fabulous

James is a gem, and it's noticeable how much funnier he's become since teaching me.

A good advert for James, he always enhances any video he appears in, and nice to hear from another commenter that James was indeed a pleasure to work with, as you'd hope he would be. Good to see Rick playing with more confidence too - much more watchable! This is the thing with confidence in golf - when you've got it, you think you're never going to lose it, and when you don't have it, you think you're never going to get it!

The game is really trending in the right direction. You can tell that the bad shots are not so bad anymore and the improvement in the short game has taken loads of shots off your score. Nice to watch with the added bonus of Robbo as well. He genuinely is that bloke everyone wants to be mates with.

I love when James gets cheeky. On hole 2, with Rick's spin off the green, James was throwing elbows.

A year ago, I would have never thought this could be close - but gosh you've really improved a ton in a short time, Rick! And its a huge inspiration for anyone having a bad spell in their game to not get discouraged and keep practicing - can turn things around in just a few months!

Huge fan of Ricks channel so I’m glad he’s playing and practicing. I was disappointed when Guy said in the podcast that it didn’t matter how Rick played and how he didn’t have time to practice. I think Rick struggling then fighting through and practicing to get better makes him more relatable than struggling and not caring as it was presented previously

I've had the pleasure of playing at SAOL a few times when I started played 15 years ago. A friend was a member when we both lived in Blackpool.
