@@nealmac9017 It's called Break 75 because he's a 3hcp golfer. Making it the objective to break 75 gives the videos a purpose and adds drama, when he breaks it he "wins" it's not that he's completed his goal.

I think he should do some lessons with James Robinson. We know the chemistry is great and he's an incredible player. Would make for outstanding videos.

I can't wait to see the Open played here with the new rendition on 17. Really appreciate the drone work as it showed how beautiful and challenging the couse is from a perspective we dont get to see on TV. With Tiger prowling around the tour again this could an interesting year.

78 on that course was absolutely phenomenal! I have just started getting back into golf and discovered your channel last week. Have been going through all the videos and really just want to thank you for providing a humanistic view into the beautiful game. You have a new subscriber for life.

Imagine getting the opportunity to enjoy such a thing as The Open and play the course. I love these break 75 series and envy you that you still can play during winter, from Sweden here and waiting for end of march/beginning of april to get started on the course.

As someone who has 3 kids full time and hasn't had time, energy or money for the past few years to get out and play like I used to (apart from the odd range session every few months) I appreciate the consistency, honesty and laughs you've brought me from when I used to play regularly all those years ago to now not being able to. I've never felt too far from the great game because you Rick (and Guy now) Only golf I watch consistently without getting bored. SAYING THAT I'd love to see Rick play a round where he doesn't talk to the camera. Doesn't have a mic. Is invested in every shot. Reads every putt. Practices professionally for a time before the game. And have it commentated by Guy. Would love to see you hit a real low number

I feel like you both play pretty amazing considering the extra clothing, Especially Guy with that jacket. Great job shooting under 80 to the both of you! Keep up the great content!

Well Rick I’m only part way into this episode. Interesting watching a player of your calibre letting things get to you. I also watched Guy trying his best to keep your head up. That’s a good friend and valuable playing mate. I’m cheering you both on hoping things improve as the round goes on.

Rick watching you is such an inspiration! Nothing worse than a triple but you marched. You are so very humble, kind and a true gentleman.

Honestly, I think Rick shows the best of golf being it’s etiquette… be pissed with yourself but praise others. I think all on this channel do it, but as a competitive sport (ex hockey player here known to chirp and be chirped) it’s nice to see the positive sportsmanship. Love the channel, love watching, good or “bad” (his worst days are better than I’ve ever seen on a course myself). Keep it up!

Good solid round with a great birdie to start off! After watching your 30-minute driving range video, I was expecting more accurate drives. But, playing on an Open course must be nerve wracking. Well done!

I love these more travelling series Rick! The whole series last year started as an interesting idea to becoming the thing that's the best about your channel, I think! Can't wait until you do some continental Europe tours and more US tours! Would love a chance to enter for a round with you with just chat and some pointers to improve one's game. I’ve been binging last week and you’ve taught me a lot about mindset for golf. The main thing I’ve learned from other videos and this is stay in a good mood and keep taking every hole serious after a bad hole. Huge respect bc anyone else I know is done for the day after a few bad holes

Considering the context of how much more difficult Royal Liverpool is than some of the other break 75 courses you've played... Shooting 78 is very respectable! There will be tour pros that shoot worse scores at the Open upcoming this summer. Well done Guy & Rick!👍👊

Watched Tiger, Rory and Thomas in the morning. Then Rick and Guy in the afternoon!! It has been a good day! That was one of the best up and downs I have ever seen on 15! Time to putt in the living room since it’s freezing outside today!!

Rick is so self critical haha we’re all so hard on ourselves. Shows that however good we get it, we always expect more. Guys short game was on point 🙌🏻

I love Rick and won’t miss a show but I’m not sure he would be much fun to actually play a round with. 😂He gets pretty Eeyore-ish. Great round to both of them.

Finally got on a par 3 course for the first time this year played a solo round and felt so nice to get this year going 💪🏼💪🏼

Another great video. I've gone through some of the same emotions on a round of golf. I usually come to the conclusion that it's my decisions of what clubs to use and how I am able to hit them that runs my score up.

Love your honesty Rick. Golf is hard, but so enjoyable on those special shots.

I love these videos. As an average golfer, it reminds me 1. How important the short game is, especially putting. And 2. How easy it is to muck it up and ruin your game. Love your commentary. It sounds just like the stuff going on in my head as I play golf.

What an epic video, absolutely brutal the courses they come up with for the pros!

Hats off to you on that bunker shot, I never saw that coming out in a million years!

That plugged bunker shot that went birdie...(hole 15) reminds me of what I tell my scrub self all the time. Never give up on it - you never know what's going to happen. I had one last week, a 155 narrow par 3. Sent it right, into some trees and thorn bushes/branch mess that was all tangled up. About 25 yards from the green. I decided to play it instead of doing anything else. Flipped the club upside down and just hacked at it. Hit the ball, tangled up my club in it, but moved the ball about 2 feet, just outside the mess. Take another shot, and somehow from 24ish yards I chipped it on the green and it rolled in the hole for a par. Couldn't do it again if my life depended on it....but the point is - never give up on it!!

Content is varied and fun. From your break 75, to collabs with Stacked golf and good good, there is always something fresh and fun to watch on your channel. Continued success to you and your team! Keep up the good work!😊

Top quality as always, Mr. Shiels. One request/suggestion: Could you add a small arrow over your aiming point on each shot? Especially on links courses, it’s a little difficult to tell from the camera what line you’re aiming for.

I whole heartedly believe that Rick is better at chipping than he thinks, he has just convinced himself so much that he isn't, that he has no confidence in it, which will always have a bad result. We have seen it be so much better in course vlogs his whole KZread career. If you can do it once you can do it again.

A year or so ago, you walked around with a Sports psychologist. I found it one of your most interesting videos ever. It would be great to see you follow up with him. The biggest struggle you have with the Break 75 series is with the emotional side of golf. Golf is a cruel game and I struggle more with that than I do with technique or ball striking. It would be great to listen to that gentleman on how to deal with the emotional side of golf when your game starts to go south. I have gotten better at stopping the spiral into frustration and anger but I could use some professional help with it.

Really fun to be able to watch a close view of this magnificent golf course. Wish I could be there to witness the championship 😊

Favourite channel along with Good Good, would love to see Rick encourage Guy a little more on film. I’m sure he does of camera but a great CEO and mate brings everyone around him up to the same level. Love your work guys. Rick you played some great shots. My only criticism is when you play bad shots, you can't get them out of your head. You need to accept that you are going to have an occasional bad hole. Move on, don't panic, and remain calm.

Fantastic episode of break 75(80) well done to you all. So many great golf courses in that part of the UK.

It actually makes the video so much less enjoyable to watch when Rick’s constantly being negative. Appreciate he wants to shoot a good score and gets frustrated when he’s playing badly but at the end of the day he’s playing an unreal course that the majority of us won’t ever get to play with one of his mates. Least he could do is slap a smile on his face and stop crying after he hits a few bad shots
