as well as no door, it also seems to be floating a level above the rest of the house (edit: upon further look, i actually have no idea how this room is positioned, the grid lines up with the rest of the floor, but the wall height does not? it's like half a tile from the rest of the building? which is impossible?)

YASSS! I wanted to see this house made real! lol I can't remember if I looked at it long enough to notice it was weird; I think I did but not to this extent. Btw, I always wanted to recreate that house you see at the top of the EA Gallery website; overlaying the screenshot of the enthusiastic red-headed Sim on the left. I think they built it on that empty lot, Arid Ridge, in the Skyward Palms neighborhood of Oasis Springs, where the Caliente's live (alongside two empty houses.) I'm assuming it's all base game because I think that image has been on the gallery for as long as I can remember! There's no floor plan, and it looks rather small and weird in hindsight, but I was irked that EA hadn't shared it (from what I could tell by.) I'd be thrilled if James wanted to build that one too!

I loved watching you work backwards to figure out how they built this James. You're like the sims version of algebra 😂 You have so much sims knowledge, its amazing! I know you've been playing for a long time but I would never have thought of some of the stuff you do in your videos. Excellent!

Wow! This was a ton of work! Especially for the parts you couldn’t see but you had to guess what was going on. Well done! 💯💯💯

This build (mainly the interior layout and decoration) gives strong sims 2 vibes😂😂 But yeah, you did an amazing job recreating it👏👏👏

right away first thing I spotted there is not door or archway into the kitchen in the image of the "perfect house" or that front cube room

The picture reminded me of that Sims 3 future pack's HQ. It's not super similar, but also definitely built to look a certain way. It was super clunky to play in.

These always hit when I'm getting off work, from night shift. Perfect way to wind down for bed.
