If you do a rags to riches it works because you start with 0$ but at least you don't have an empty lot. You just have to buy what you need (kitchen, bedroom) with the money you make while playing. The goal could be to complete the house! :) Another let's play idea James?☺️

For the sleeping situation, there were some debug tents that came with the music festival back in 2021. It was the music festival that featured real life artists Glass Animals, Bebe Rexha, and Joy Oladokun. I don’t think you can find them in the debug menu anymore, but I’ve found someone has uploaded a venue with the tents on the gallery. The tents are free and function normally-allowing Sims to sleep, nap, relax, plan outfits, and read wilderness digest.

There’s also the stage that came with the festival, which allows the Sims to “Dance Near Stage” or “Gather around Stage.” Lastly, the festival came with the “Sims Sessions Crafts & Creations Table” also for 0 simoleons and acts like a normal vending table for yard sales.

@@b0ndape Hello! The lot I downloaded from the gallery was named “music festival,” and it was originally by avigigi01. The lot has all the items from the music festival and is 50x40 in size . It’s also flagged as only using base game!

i have an idea. make a completely non-usable house! it has to be all debug items, has to look real but sims can't do anything with them. i'm not sure if there's a point to this, but i thought it might be fun to try to look for alternate objects.

Awesome job! I am 100% going to use this lot to play this as a rags to riches. My backstory on the lot is that it was going to be some rich celebrity's home where they were showing off having it downtown (and destroyed a park in the process in their selfishness) but between permit issues, earthquakes causing those cracks (totally fitting for the LA type neighborhood) and the celebrity's waning popularity causing them to have to abandon it, it's currently waiting for the banks to fight things out and the city to bother to destroy it. So in the meantime, my sim will be a squatter while they make enough funds to at least get a tent and maybe a cooler while making money to buy or rent their own home somewhere else.

I know there is a pp bush that is for free, I think it is under the SE debug. Also, the pomegranate trees are free as well, and in a couple of days, you can harvest them for food.

Okay, you can use a roof to build a free shelter. You just use MASSIVE eaves and the smallest base possible. My rags to riches werewolf lived under a tin roof for AGES because it worked really well. This is how I make greenhouse/polytunnels too

I swear ONLY James could make a busted down construction site look almost cozy lmaoooo

I truly appreciate how creative you made this house. It is 0 and it is mostly functional for food it’s trees that grow nearby and for sleep is the bench. I would definitely like to see you do Batuu (Yeah) in every world sounds like fun.

That dream home decorator one was a lot o fun to do!

I am three weeks postpartum and have been watching all the live burger boys and all your videos pretty much non stop. I just discovered at 3am trying to soothe my baby that he falls asleep to your voice. 😂 Sims fan in the making.

You should use this lot for the next Bigwallet series, either Addison or Breanne’s kids in HSY or for the infant/generations expansion when it’s out

If ANYONE is going to figure out a 0 simoleon build, its James 😆 This level of ingenuity is why I keep watching ❤ Also, now you should take the same structure and make it a real house of course with money allowed. Would love to see

I love these challenge style videos. It encourages out of the box thinking. Syd mac does one where every room is a different size/dimension but she builds all the room shells first to create a shell. Then she decorates the whole outside first and then moves inside. Her houses always turn out so good. It's like she has endless shell challenges ^_^ ***Oooo! Shell challege generator! You could make that James. Just have each room randomized to a dimension, could be cool to add to your site because I know those kinds of challenges are popular.

This is fantastic for a rags to riches starting with $0! Have a bathroom, a shower, and a pond that you can start making money from immediately (breeding frogs). Going to try this with a sim who’s not allowed to get a job or sell paintings.

This lot looks like it needs a let's play using ravasheens "filthy fabulous" mod items so it can look like someone is trying to live in the house until its built.

I love that a house can either be free for us or free for the sim... but never both

I don't think anyone would ever build a house like this, pretty sure the roof is one of the last things, at least it isn't built until all the structure is complete since roofs are very heavy. I love it!

Because of the size of the lot, and the placement it could be the perfect place too to attempt to recreate the house from the up movie

I love how creative this is, it looks like an abandoned build that sat a while and now somebody else has bought it and is restoring it. would love to see you start a r2r here :)

There are a few items from City Living that you can get money from, the boxes they have on the corner you can find snow globes in debug, and the electrical box you can get posters is free too. Sell the posters and snow globes for money. But if you can make your lot into a landfill lot, you can have people drop off junk items for you to fix and sell.

You are doing amazing with all the content, James! I am having so much fun watching all these different series and videos. LET’S GO!

Love it! The sim that started this construction for this home, had to abandon it because they couldn't afford the taxes on the land they ran out of money when they decided to get that expensive solar roof and now it belongs to the city. Now homeless sims crash there for keeps.

It's really amazing that you pulled all this together! I couldn't see the vision of the under construction house until like half way through the video haha It looks amazing! Super cool 😎

I don't know if you figured it out, but you had to keep turning on moveobjects because there is a thing in the better build buy menu that you check to enable moveobjects and that will keep it on.

The Sim can always just order pizza on his phone. Of course, he'll have to save the money for it...

Love this! This takes some serious creativity and digging to come up with this!

maybe not a house.... but it reminds me of like a playhouse that is in the center of a park! When i was a teen I worked at a Smith Playground that had a 3 story "big house" that had playrooms, bathrooms, offices, party space, and loackers/showers for the outside pool. Actually the more I talk.... the more I want to build it in Sims

I LOVE THIS!! It's super creative, has so much character, and really enhances Del Sol Valley (completely fits in too). These neighborhoods and townies would be so much more interesting if they weren't identically-perfect.

@@JamesTurnerYT It’s because the mod goes by the filter rather than the cheat code. (I think it’s under the Organized Debug filter.) When you have it checked, MOO will stay on until you uncheck it, even if you close the game and open on another lot

@@JamesTurnerYT it’s truly helpful. The Deletion Protection is pretty cool too. If you know you want to change stairs and it highlights more than that, with it on, the objects stay in place. Just remember to turn it off immediately after to avoid system errors.

I would love to see a rags to rags playthrough from you. Where the sims have to live a full life on this abandoned construction site only able to attain furniture from the trash and only make money from foraging and maybe an instrument if theyre lucky enough to find one and they have to have a family some way or another.

Please do a video renovating this house now as an actual house! Looks like the floor plan could be really nice! 😂

“Build Batuu in every world” LOL, I’d watch that. Especially since we have curved walls now. I consider you THE Star Wars Sims 4 KZreadr since you provided the most about that pack. With all the locations seen in Andor and knowing (thanks to comments made with Dr Gluon during your Burger Boys livestreams) that you’ve seen it, I was kind of expecting a Sims 4 build of at least one location. I mean Maarva’s house was the one while I was watching the series the first time that I thought: “James would build that in the Sims 4!” Other locations I’m not 100% sure about since we don’t get the full layout of some of them (we get the layout of the hotel room, Bix’s dude’s house, Paks’ shop, Luthen’s store, the huts that Nemik and them stay in, etc), but there’s other places where we only really are just seeing a room or a few rooms here and there with no complete understanding of how they connect. Mon’s main floor we kinda see the entire layout of and due to directions characters walk out of there we know that from the foyer and rooms we see there’s a corridor past a doorway that must lead to elsewhere. Though we don’t have those kind of hexagonal doorframes (though they’d be cool to have in the Sims 4 since historically there are cultures on the planet that have had doors and doorways/doorframes that come in other shapes besides rectangular). Fun build! Reminds me of some areas in the closest metro city to me where whole neighborhoods are being built. Great job! Thanks for the video!

If you have Eco living you can have your Sim dumpster dive and they can find furniture and appliances for free. If your Sim is handy they can fix up their dumpster finds! You can also dumpster dive for meals. Love this video, Im clicking subscribe!!!!

Amazing! I love building a home for my sim when I do the rags to riches challenge

It definitely feels like a building that ran out of budget mid-project and was abandoned!

This is awesome if your sim wants to start a business. Like a vet or shop or restaurant. And you got this stuff for free because the build was canceled and now it just sits there being an eyesore. I always need moneycheat when starting a business, or I have to play a generation of hardworking sims and their heir can spend their hardearned money. A free of charge start sounds like a real gamechanger for me.
