Having gone back to Sims 3 recently, I really enjoy it because I can make really crazy and experimental stuff, as well as things that are difficult to make in Sims 4 (like open two-story rooms.) But it has a lot of weird limitations that got fixed in the Sims 4. Plus some of the Sims 4 tools (like the roof tools) are a godsend. I still lean Sims 3, but a hybrid of both build modes would be perfect.

I love making basement home theaters. I put in a kitchenette, movie posters, multiple levels, pouffs, sectional couches, sometimes a bed to lounge in, sometimes a game console, deck it tf out

I’m curious about the usage of the tub/shower combo on its own first off, but the addition of the Uni shower, too? If I wasn’t watching James talk during this speed build sounding very much like himself, I’d be positive he’d been abducted and replaced with a pod person. I think an underground bowling alley makes perfect sense, at least in a residential setting, because it would absorb the sound and not bother the neighbors. Surely the home theater has all kinds of sound proofing and acoustic material so the bowling wouldn’t bother anyone enjoying that awesome room! Wasn’t there a Greco Roman type pack from Sims 3 that would have added to the pool level? That said, it looks so good! The lab reminds me a bit of what Classic Finn as a vampire did where he kept his plasma snacks (aka captive Sims).

I love sims 3 build mode at the time but yeah... what we really need is a combination of how advanced the build mode was with the cheats and stuff PLUS the ease of ts4 controls if that makes sense

look up "Underground House Las Vegas"! They built an entire house with a yard and pool and everything under another house as a doomsday bunker. The basement looked like it was outdoors with trees and grass and cloud painted walls. It would be so cool to see you make something like that in the sims!

This was a lot of fun to watch! Thank you! The levels are going to a real treat for the sims to use, except maybe if this is put on an earthquake lot, it will make lab time so stressful! haha I appreciate your honesty and reflection on how the Sims 3 isn't everything everyone seems to remember through their nostalgia fog. The Sims 4 may be buggy, but it has good features like you mentioned with build mode.
