So, I've been religiously watching your saturday night streams for a couple of years...Just turned 40, and strangely, my 20 year old, decided he had a free weekend and wanted to try Rust, turns out hes been watching you also!!!... I'll be honest, I've tried Rust as a solo a few times, and never even managed to get a base down... can hold my own on COD or PUBG, but never managed to survive on RUST... well... lets just say, as a duo (we started on wipe day)... we got a base... it was an awful design, but TC was Amoured... (the lad added wooden windows, dont ask), we fought tooth and nail due to schedules, and mostly being solo... We got to SAR's, and engaged with the wrong guys... it attracted the Russian Zergs.... We held our own on PVP for about 3 seconds.... Killed a few, but eventually poor base design, and inexperience prevailed..... Despite that, it was an amazing experience... especially when the russian heli came by with what sounded like a mini gun.... Anyway, it was all inspired by you... a son and his father, brought together for an unforgettable experience.... Thanks for the content bro, and keep up the good work!!! PS, if you were on the Rusty moose this wipe, and kicked our ass... We'll get you next time.... unlikely :D

A video where you play with drones sounds fun. I've never messed with them myself. Maybe surveil a monument or a raid to know when is the right time to strike, or even just keep an eye on your neighborhood. 14:52 I've also seen some cool "raid detectors" that send you notifications on the app when stuff gets destroyed. Might be worth looking into. ULTIMATE INTELLIGENCE GATHERING BUILD. Information is the strongest weapon.

Wiljum this is perfect example of my only complaint I see the most is nobody using backpacks. That base decay could of went south quick and a backpack would of made looting it faster. Great video none the less.
Love it. That group, just kept making me smile. Your fan base not afraid to kill ya or be killed by you, but loves you anyway.
IDEA: Raid someone's base, set up remote door controllers, then give them the codes to their base as a note. This will let them think they have their base back, then pop by every so often and take some of their farm. Also set up cctv inside their base to watch them farm for you!

Was waiting for this yesterday, my Saturday morning cartoons on a sunday. Lol.
I've done the whole separate foundations touching floors thing a few times now to build on top of large rocks. I love how high above everything I get and really enjoy the split level designs I can come up with. Lining everything up is the hardest bit, but it's so fun when it works. The tip I found most helpful is to use the compass tick marks to line things up and use swim flippers to slow down your walk speed.
Clicked on the video for rust. Stayed to watch the best base I’ve ever seen be built.
Theres just something amazing about a wiljum sunday morning video with coffee and rain outside. Total mood.

loving the long videos man. always enjoy watching a continued story every week
probably one of the coolest bases I've ever seen a solo make. Great aesthetic
for ideas for the future, i always think its really cool when rust creators reach out to other sections of the creation space. Maybe you could lean into a bit more roleplaying for a wipe, like running a hotel, but make it properly defendable instead of just a big square. Maybe something like a solo cooperative where you work with other solos to lift each other up

Really want to thank you willy for this videos, it helped me bring down my stress so much.
@Willjum, to make sure you never fuck-up your Vennding TC, place a half wall, triangle frame, remove half wall, place door frame, center TC in door as close to you as possible with the triangle frame still there. Then just remove triangle frame and walla, perfect TC placement behind Vendy all the time.

A base that looks inviting to raid externally, but internally is just leading them into a funnel of doom.

Honestly one of the coolest bases I've seen you make on your channel, reminds me of an actual fortress/castle instead of just a rust base
This is easily my favorite build by Willjum so far, it's such a cool solo base, not only strong but it's a fun design

This base has so much potential !!!! It could be bigger and even more amazing, I really enjoyed whatching it
Love your videos, man! Just a random idea. Maybe you could try a video where you do a wipe only with resources you get from raiding/roaming. Try to make a giant base. I know you like to farm so it would be a cool challenge to watch.
Love watching your videos, man! Your editing style is a joy to watch!
Yet again great video mate, Really learning watching these
Been here some time for now WilliJ.. got to say that i,m like waiting aggressivly your new uploads already hahaha😂🙌 i dont even have the chance or even more that i have'nt never ever played rust by myself.. but learned all this game from watching your gameplays and those movies that you make💛 just to say that.. keep on going with those and you are going to make it somewhere big!! Somewhere where we no one here could ever immagine you getting❤ love from Estonia🇪🇪❤
Another Banger as allways
There are some caves that you can take a power wire and bring it up to the surface. You can make a base outside the cave with solar/wind power that then brings power to your cave base. You could use electricity/cameras/drones to monitor the surface while in your cave to ensure that no one is inside/outside of the cave. That could be a cool base. and yeah as others suggest, also have it trapped with cameras to watch as people get trapped.
Freeform base builds adapted to the terrain is the best part of rust imo nice vid!
Love you Willjum, keep up the good work
Bluebubs shoutout is well deserved 👏 the guy is literally the pioneer of rock bases
Easily the best build ive seen in awhile. Gave me a ton of ideas
surveillance base would be cool, but I kind of like how you found a cool spot and build something spontaneously. I'd love to see you go in with no plan and see what you come up with! great vid!
this has to be the most wiljum base ever it so clean chaotic and cozy at the same time 😭
Hey wiljum, love you're videos, and even noticed some new music, keep adding more and keep the og ones, for those special moments in the wipe. Keep up the great work, I look forward to your videos.
Banger
once again into the snow and ice. love it.
Because of the vision you put into my head, I can see this castle with 2 more towers (a total of 3) equally spaced from one another encasing the center in a triangle and wood or stone walls connected to them, making a castle/compound.
45:00 minecraft music gave me chills great video!
Love when the boys come over just to say hi and good luck
Loved this base! Looked so cool and worked really well.
Watching wiljum shuttle 3 cloth back and forth from that decayed base was great
Can’t wait for that next video Willjum
i love builds that utilize the terrain "unusual bases" instead of the sane old youtuber bases.. two squares here low foundi here, half wall here. I appreciate the "wing it " style, built on unusual terrain.
