As if Furby wasn't cursed enough (I remember taking the batteries out of one and throwing it down the stairs while it continued talking).

I have to think those broken glass sounds as you shook the box must have given Xyla a heart attack.

I like how car central locking motors have shown up in 2 maker secret santa videos so far.

James' video should have been the first video in the playlist. He spent the most time explaining the whole KZread secret Santa concept and introducing everyone. some of the other videos just started with no introduction.

Nooooo that's the creepiest model Furby ever! When I took mine apart in 2012, it was extremely grumpy and kept "vomiting". 😆 The newest one is much cuter-- I just did a teardown on my channel. Your giant Furby turned out great, James!

Very interesting build! We’ve just embarked on building a giant Furby, but ours is going to be based on the 2005/6 version, rather than a Furby Boom, and will only be about half the size of yours. The 2005/6 was the only version with voice recognition & well be using a voice recognition module.

Every year I watch the Playlist backwards. It makes more sense, watching a present being made AFTER you see/receive it. Purposely ruining your own surprise isn't my style.

It's a creative secret Santa gift, but I'm glad I'm a senior adult, as the idea of a giant furby reminds me of the late night horror films of decades ago like the killer puppets or demonic toys.

Something out of a fever dream

You know how when you spin a coin on a flat surface and nearing the end of the spin it is nearly laying horizontally and starts doing rapid wobbles aka Euler's Disk? Maybe you could build some sort of hover craft, or something that uses one or more of these wobbling disks to move around.

Sam is going to love this!!! At least shipping should be easier!
