Perhaps after a few days have passed, watch it back yourself and see what you think . I mean no harm or malice in any way, though. I do enjoy watching your amazing painting skills. Many thanks 👍 sorry about that, funnily enough my wife says the same thing, i forget what I've said sometimes especially if I've recorded parts on different days plus i still have a bit of nerves in front of the camera but thanks for the feedback it really helps me a lot to improve my content as I'm always looking to improve This job is nearly finished so look out for the next part coming soon, its come up a treat, I've only had chance to grab the odd hour or two on this car as I'm doing it in-between my customers work so the footage may be a bit random Have a great weekend man and thanks for watching God bless 🙏

I do a lot of this here in the states. It’s fun putting these back on the road in proper condition. Lots of money to be made. Enjoy.

It is fun i enjoy doing them more than the customers jobs, i like the chase and looking for them thats good fun and you learn a lot about different cars along the way

Iv'e done this my whole life I usually try for wrecked but no frame damage and not totaled fix them up and put them on marketplace and if you need the money quick and want to get onto the next one and take it to public auction never lost money always made money.

nice motor looks like it was traded in and got sent to auction because of the age be great to see it done up 👍

Very interesting Jason, looks like you have got a fairly tidy motor there I do like the BMW's and the Mercs my SLK has only done 43K miles which is low for a 2003 year car and before I got it the previous owner had a full Merc service with all the stamps in the book I bought it in 2015 and it's never been any trouble at all and has passed all the MOT's with no advisory's, if it lasts it might be a future classic🤞 Anyway mate I hope you get the BMW sorted and looking like new then you can make a profit on it, good luck with it Jason👌👍

I see these people buy salvage wrecks and doing dirty repairs not even looking at the TDS on how to properly put a panel back on the way it says to be done how they can sell these cars is a ringer to my head I know if the next person gets in a wreck I hope they don't get hurt bad because that's gonna haunt the person that did the in correct way replacing the panel's. I work in a dealership and WE have to repair the car how the TDS says and any other way the tech could be at fault.

I know been having the same conversations with Rhys, tbh i struggle to watch some of them because of the way they are being repaired and think about if they’re in another accident I only look for stuff that needs panel and paint mainly, or mechanical that I can sub out,im not set up for structural or got enough experience so I won’t get involved, I like the cars to be right even if that means less money or even a loss i take it as a gamble that didn’t pay off

Me old mucka we’re from wootton Bassett lol. We actually had a brand new one of these it was exactly the same but Monaco blue (I think ) from the day we bought it it had an engine stutter they couldn’t fix and when it was 14 months old the lacquer started peeling off the front ! BMW Swindon actually took it back in the end 😂 and we ended up with an X1 ..I pray this one treats you better 👍

No way love that, Rhys went to school at Wootton Bassett academy, some cars are just bad i think, doesn’t matter what car it is if you google most cars or engines they all have their common problems and issues, some are Friday afternoon cars 😂 Thanks mate hopefully this one will be alright cos the wife likes it so we might be keeping it as a little sunny day car as a treat

No harm done like you say theres always a Friday car somewhere lol cheers dude 👍

You are right about getting a second key cut an coded. Dont know what it is about it but it always makes me feel better when there is 2 keys, maybe as iv a habbit of loosing them 😂 and sayibg that, i just bought an Imported ute and it only came with one, first thing i did was get an additional one cut - £130, free plug Asl Locksmiths 😄

Looks a good car but depends 2.0 engine is the worse for problems but all engines the timeing chain on higher mileage ones are a right pain to do on them and the front spings snap easy any body work is not a problem for you do your checks every other tube people in the car trade (i bet you heard) vehicle score use that you got to be careful with buying off auctions you landed with a good one to be honest with you but not everyone one will be mate 👍

Yeah your right cheers mate, i do take my time looking at them and doing checks, the last one i done was a Mercedes GLA 2.1 CDI and i brought it with no history and a rattly timing chain, it was cheap but was some messing about, but it turned out a good car in the end just took some time to get sorted. its a gamble you win some you lose some

I have a few times over the years they just don't seem to add up some of them and ones I've done struggled to sell being categorise, unless they are higher end cars being repaired on big channels they don't seem to be that profitable with the amount of work needed

LOL i bought and sold cars for 20 years then decided it was getting hard work , so decided just to paint them . I was offered Vw cab for very cheap money on a 14 plate but was battered every panel so i repainred it and sold back to the trade with a couple off grand profit . Can,t be arsed with selling cars retail anymore (headaches) leave too the big bollocks guys .lol
