Thanks for the recipe. I love stouts and I’ve only been to two breweries that have golden stouts and they’re delicious. I’ve been wanting to make my next brew day a stout. I’m going to have to give this recipe a try. ❤🍻

I love the fact you did a golden stout. I just recently got introduced to this type of stout. I love love love dark stouts and porters but the idea of a golden color stout is intriguing.

That looks so bloody good, I love peanut butter and chocolate. Maltodextrin increases body but as good as no sweetness, but that helps too. I made a reeses PB Cup Imperial pastry stout, same in that the PB was really muted.

I know this was addressed in the video, but Brewer’s best extract! Don’t fully rely on it 1.5-2 oz in a full 5 gallon batch. That in conjunction with pb2 really nails. The flavor and the fakeness of the extract is hidden.

I find a combination of PB powder and extract seems to get the right amount of Peanutbutter smell and flavor without being overwhelmed with that fake peanutbutter taste that extract alone leaves.

Some tips I have seen to increase that nuttiness from the peanuts is to use malts like victory, biscuitt and munich and then buy some peanuts and roast them yourself and condition it over the peanuts.

Well I only have the prototype and from what I’ve seen they have fixed the slight issues that I’ve come across with there final model. My guess is that the final model that they end up selling is going to be pretty rad!!!! Cheers 🍻
