    Oh Man! I felt so identified with your story thanks for sharing. I lived pretty much the exact same thing three years ago in my first (and only) trip to Japan. I planned to get the Nintendo Switch that had just released like three weeks prior to my trip. It was sold out everywhere, I visited every possible store (just like you did) and even had some of those same fails with stores that appeared to have it but didn't. I had little victories here and there, getting games and accessories for a console that I didn't even own, but I had also given up by the end of the trip. Then in my last day it turned out that stores were going to re-stock but only sell through raffles. I didn't have the time for that (my flight would have left me haha). So literally in the last store I was going to visit (a toy store in Ginza) they were just starting to sell them just like that without any raffle, that was like the perfect closure for a fantastic trip (which also had a magical day in Disney by the way), probably my happiest experience in my whole life since I got to share all of that with my wife and my brother. Anyways, you're probably not going to read this, I just thought to share it with you since I see a lot of my story in yours and you brought all those memories back to me.

    I wish you the best time in Japan! When it comes to picking up games in Japan it may be good to have a list what to look for (such as what Wood bought in the series of videos) as well as totally going blind because you just won't know what is in stock and you can get so many suprises (just make sure the price is good, which is the case for most older games). • @BlueSkyeDays.

    @BlueSkyeDays.

    4 жыл бұрын

    CyanideZoker Book Off is cheaper. They have different prices at different Book Offs so you should shop around. Hard Off is usually cheaper again. Trader base their prices on how popular the games were and how much demand there is for them. Super Potato is the most expensive along side Retro Game Camp. Surugaya is a great one to check out too. Heaps of new and old games.
