You may want to check wheel bearings for grease-probably wasn’t greased properly.

That would be the perfect dump trailer for me. I just need something for occasional use around the farm. I agree with you about "attention to detail". That was one of the first lessons that were stressed to me when I was in the Navy working on airplanes.

Good morning. Down the road, you could sandblast and properly seal, primer and paint or powder coat. Weld in extra crossmembers, then skin bed and walls to get thickness to 7 gauge. Now before saying that you can/ could get another trailer, youve got that one. Those upgrades could strengthen the trailer and keep it from getting dented up from thin metal. Not hating just my couple of cents. It's a entry dump trailer with a awesome price point.

Good for occasional use. Check the wheel bearings, they probably weren’t greased.

That trailer isn't that bad! Heck my dump trailer is 4x8 lol single axle. But tell ya what I use it all the time. It's great for getting into small spots. And I fill the thing with broken concrete and rock all the time. Trade ya if you want! 😅

Agree with your points 100% Hank. You were right to take the deal but there's a lot to be desired. Most disappointing are the things that wouldn't have cost more to do right like you said. I was comparing to my 7x14 dump trailer I bought a couple years ago and there are definitely clear misses.

Bought a 7x14 homesteader and have very few complaints. Yes the paint sucks but it’s a tool not gonna be pretty when your dumping rock and what not in it. Tires that come on them suck always flat. Swapped those with 14 ply tires no issues since. Mine has the dual cylinder lift on it and it will dump what ever you put in it. Guy at the stone yard put 6.5 ton on me on accident and it dumped it fine. I use mine several times a month. Hauled many a machine in it. So far I’m very happy with mine. I didn’t opt for the tarp kit im going to put my own on and use a dump truck tarp arm to bring tarp over the bed. I think the trailer will treat you fine.

I live near Paris powersports, and looked at them trailers and they aren’t very high quality. They got finance houses to do like lot financing type deal. Basically people with bad credit bought the crap out of them at over $500 a month, with no business plan. You can get a hold of the finance company’s and buy rhe repos cheap. Im not knocking the dealer because terrrible lending is everywhere, but the trailers didn’t hold up tp the length of the loan. I bought mine in Clarksville Tn.

Hank all you need now is a american flag tarp for that trailer and you would be set. There is a usa company that makes them for dumptrucks, end dump trailers and such i cant remember the name of them right off my head.

How boutcha Hank.. I have watched your channel for a little over a year now under a different account, and I noticed you are pretty knowledgeable about TYM tractors. I am STILL trying to decide between a TYM T25, and a Solis H24 with cab. My question is regarding the 3rd function setup. My understanding, the TYM uses a full 3rd function valve, and the Solis uses a diverter valve. My question is, how much does this effect the usefulness of this feature. I know both "work", but is the full 3rd function worth the extra money? I know you are a busy man, but thanks for the reply

Hey Hank you are right you always get what you pay for ,but it will be ok for occasional use ,and hey the repairs will make good content for us😅😅😅. Your dump fee,s are reasonable here in Adelaide ive paid 85$for a 4x6trailer of broken brick, and 45$for 4x6 trailer of tree cuttings 😮😮.Roadside dumping is a major issue here in sth Australia because of the high cost of going to the dump. Enjoyed this evaluation ,your opinions always seem fair and balanced Kym Adelaide

I predict a phone call from Homestead Implements asking you to clarify that they are in no way related to Homestead trailers. And surprised you didn't lead the video headline with that. Especially considering your previous experience with the two different Titan Implements, with one changing their name to Ironcraft to escape the ill will that the Chinese importers brought on the name.

I bought a "new " trailer few months before i moved I wasn't super impressed with the quality once i got done moving my house and stuff i sold it bought a nicer used trailer put work into it the quality of these trailers is lacking if im honest unless u spend 12 grand plus for a basic equipment trailer i guess i was spoiled by me and my late father who was a fabricator and the trailers we built really strong and didnt cut corners
