You can even resharpen disposable utility blades. They cut super quick and easy. Really helped me learn burr control learning freehand. I still come across random utility blades around the house and shop with full mirror dripped out edges I did many many years ago. I even have a couple I mirror polished the entire damn blade, not just the edge bevel.

Man!! A few of those were surprisingly cool! I wasn't expecting much, but I'm actually impressed!

Definitely do a video on that Olitans; that is a very cool design and concept which seems like it was well executed. With the 9CR blades that seems like a great deal. Shout out to Stassa with his initial quick video on this!

That extra lil click is probably just the detent ball clicking on something else/ a different milled out spot. I have a few knives that took MONTHS of investigation to find out wth was goin on 🔎

I mean that last one with the great sheep’s foot is pretty cool. Would would nice if they did it in a more permanent set up with a slightly better steel.

I almost solely have to get my knives off Amazon so I jumped on the Olitans a couple months ago and was pleasantly surprised at how good it is! Wish it were a lil sharper out of the box since I can’t sharpen but it’s a great deal. The Titaner I’ve had my eye on for at least a week now and I appreciate your input on it!!

That Tactical Gear 2nd knife was cool, I can definitely tell they aren’t as refined as like Civivi would be or something but I like VG-10. That sounds almost sounds like the detent ball is dragging on the end of that tang.

That was an interesting video - and I like your idea for a future video. My favorite knife from your selection was the OLITANS T024 Folding Knife with Replaceable blades. It looks more rugged/solid than the scalpel-like knife that has replaceable scalpel-like blades.

Could you do this on the regular, pick random knives off of Amazon and see if they're worth a damn? The first and last are interesting, only what happens if those particular replacement blades are no longer available because the company went under?

Olitans has innovated on that one. And they are willing to make slightly less bank in order to help their work sell. And they put in the work. Bang for the buck. Like to see that again. Ever thought about interviewing Makers…Desi goers. As a recurring thing with your brand( Originality )??

you need to review their new olitans g032 and g031 crossbar and button lock g10 knives, FN great!

I've got a couple of kwinkin knives, they make some half decent stuff for the price in my experience, but I've never tried their more premium stuff

The thing catching/clicking during drop on the second knife is probably the detent *just* touching part of the blade as it rotates.

Thought the kwinkim looked pretty cool. The functionality of the replaceable blades on the last one was pretty nice. 3 distinct blade shapes for whatever you would be using them for. Pretty good deals sounds like.

The first one has a blade with a hole in the middle. To replace it, you'd have to pretty much disassemble the whole knife. The steel is alright though

I think the last one would be good in a truck kit or tool box ... yeah

1st one was incredible design, I love it, I just don't like how much work you have to put in to get to the lockbar. 2nd one is forgettable. 3rd is a home run, I love everything about it and will probably get it. 4th is really cool. they start to lose me with 9cr, but they make up for it by giving you 3 really good looking blade options.

So I got the olitans titanium knife. You turned me on this with this video. I ordered one the day I watched this video. I friggin love it! Anyways. I saw a good video earlier today showing lock fails on a frame lock, a big badass titanium frame lock. I'm sitting here at home and and thought how crazy it would be if my olitans failed it. It did. It failed on a super light spine whack.... I don't believe in pounding a knife to prove it's a fail. It fails clock work, two light whacks and it's a wrap... I still love it, maybe it's a one-off. Maybe try yours. Anyways I thought I could mention to you cause I know how you feel about this knife. Again, I got this knife cause of this video. As I said before I still love it and I'll still use it. Also wondering just how many knifes are actually failing!!! Crazy, crazy. Take care.

Jarod it seem's like to me in videos I see you running your fingers down the knife blades,..it scares the crap out of me every time!! This isn't a knock at you by any means,...love all your shows and I'm subscribed. Just wondering how the heck you don't cut yourself and what your trick is not to cut your fingers severely. If I ran my fingers down the blade like that I'd likely cut the crap out of myself. How is it that you can do that without getting hurt is my question??

This knives are not so good man and most of these brands are un heardable and nobody knows them. I will never risk and spend money for those brands.
