I Bought My DREAM CAR and it's AMAZING!!!

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

I finally did it, I bought my dream car an AM General Hummer H1! Not only did I buy it, but in this video I take it off road, ford through flooded roads, and drive over cars and crush them. After years of hard work, dedication and passion, I was able to save up enough to buy a car, well technically a truck, that I have wanted since I was a kid. This video is super special to me and I hope you enjoy it! Also, there is a kinda-sorta ChrisFix face reveal in this video...

This video is incredibly special because it goes to show you, if you are really passionate about something and work hard, you can achieve your goals! I always knew I would get an AM General Hummer H1 one day, but I never expected it to be this beast and this soon! Thank you guys for all the support, every single one of you. You guys are who make this possible. I do my best to make videos that help you, but you guys coming back to each video and watching them the entire way through, is what makes my channel the #1 Automotive DIY channel in the world! THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart! Your passion for automobiles and your expertise in fixing and upgrading them is truly inspiring. Every tutorial and upgrade you share gets me even more excited about the prospect of owning my own car someday, even if it's a used one. Keep doing what you do best, Chris! You're my inspiration. 15 mpg is really impressive given the circumstances of the vehicle. 8 tons of weight being pushed that far off a gallon of anything sounds pretty efficient to me. The acceleration / deceleration is most impressive to me though, getting that into motion that quickly and to stop that quickly is quite a task. Well deserved man, keep being you, keep grinding and especially keep reminding others they don’t need to care what others think about their dreams. Within reason of course, can’t be a career criminal as a dream and expect encouragement 😅

@@ollie620 If his parents is fine with it, what is the big deal? I know plenty of people who have a bit older parents, and they take care of them in the home- so theres no reason to move out. Neither you or me know his situation, nor his parents. - So making assumptions that he "needs" to move out, is a bit of a stretch. Maybe it is common where you live to move out early, but where I'm from theres not really a point, unless you are insanely wealthy and don't need to take up a loan.

Hey Chris, figured you might be interested in knowing the reason why the center doesn't have any seating (you have that weird (no offense, just never seen that before) optional bench seat in the middle) in a standard military HMMWV (High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle) it's the perfect amount of space to fit a medical stretcher through the trunk. so that the people sitting in the back can then tend to the person on a stretcher in the middle. A little story, we were doing desert training in Nevada for deployment and some new recruits were driving HMMWV's for the first time. Well, they have plenty of torque. Had a youngster drive about 10 miles on the road. With the parking brake on!... As soon as we stopped the damn thing caught on FIRE. We got the fire put out quick. No real damage to the vehicle. The poor guy didn't hear the end of it for the rest of our field training. Good times.

G Juliusson also the HMMWV has that also because all the stuff like the axis and driveline is tucked up underneath so it’s harder to get it stuck on hills
