Wow, what a response time ! Just want to let you know I found your channel a while ago but didn't have a car to work on yet. About a year ago I bought an 18 year old BMW E46 to a complete scam of a garage. The car looked fantastic from the outside but the garage had cleared the codes on the dashboard right before giving me the keys and I didn't know what clues to look for when buying my first car... Shortly after buying it, I got a quote from BMW to get it back in decent conditions (3000 euros). I never meant for this car to become a project car but it did. Your videos are the reason I got the motivation to start learing how to fix this car. I'm almost done getting my now favourite car into amazing shape for about 800 euros (including buying the tools). And that doesn't even count the money my dad could save when I started doing all the maintenance of his Saab 95. From the bottom of my heart, thank you so much for all your work, for saving me from bank ruptcy and giving me one of the most rewarding hobby I ever had !

I’ve always wanted to do this to my dad but he passed away 2 years ago when I was 19. I’ll never be able to live the experience, but through you’re video I’m able to get very close to it. Seeing your dad happy reminded me of how much I wanted to do something like this for my dad, you’re a great guy Chris; not many people value their parents and seeing stuff like this makes me happy. I hope I’ll be able to do this for my mom some day.

I got a Corolla from my parents. It was used but I am completely greatful for what theyve done for me. I just wish I could do something so special for my parents like Chris did, but Im living paycheck to paycheck and I cant afford to. I feel like such a disappointment :(

Absolutely great stuff. My dream car is a 64' Ford Galaxie 500 series my pawpaw had one black body with a red interior, red dice on the mirror lol! He left when I was 6 but still haven't forgotten I loved riding around in that boat with him!

Watched a paint correction video before this one which im going to apply to my Jaguar XJ X351 LWB when I get it back from my mechanic who is fortunately a good friend also. Then I watched this and saw what you did for your Dad and had to subscribe based on this video alone. Will be following all the way from the South Coast on the UK! God bless you for such an amazing gift for your Dad.

You are so right that is the best thing to do for a fella that has stood behind you the whole way. His reaction was priceless! Good job Chris. Enjoy your time with him.... And at your dad's request my dream car is a 1966 Chevelle I had one as my first car when I turned 16 my Dad surprised me with our family car so I learned to drive in it as well and had already enjoyed it from the age of 9 and he knew the love I had with that car. I joined the Marine corps after HS and while serving overseas it was stolen from the garage I had it in behind my dad's house. It has never been found in all these years. So for the last 28 years I have been looking to replace that car and have yet to do it.
