Stoked for a new project! 🍻 $4k seems about right to me, especially for someone who knows how to work on it. Congrats on the Ford too, looks like another good deal! Prerunner would be badass and different from Jeeps.

That’s not only a good deal for that taco but that Ford as well! I think you should make it into a pre runner and send it!

Looks like a great Truck to bring back to life! Looking forward to the updates! $4k ain't too bad at all given the smashed passenger side body and cut fenders. A Desert Runner build would be pretty sweet.

$4000 is a good price. got mine not too long ago for $7500, but it wasn't beat up like yours. I'm subscribing so I can see it turn into a ROCK CRAWLER!!! I will need some 'how-to' videos so I can build mine!. Can't wait to see the end result for this truck. Keep the vids coming!

YESSSS!!! Stoked to see another norcal yota rescued! Sad to see the 3rd gen go, but wise choice! I think 4k was a good deal even if it's a little beat... that just means more content from Mike! I vote for you to build a dual purpose set up! Like long travel that can crawl! Like KOH style rig.

My 2006 Taco refuses to give up.All the fireman I work with have newer Gladiators, f150’s, silverados, ect, yet my 2006 mountain goat just works. I love that its analog enough that it still feels like a truck. Its the one vehicle ill keep until is seizes or rusts in half.

Pre-runner brother. Would love to watch the process. Really enjoyed the work on your Tacoma. Excellent price by the way.

A few years ago I would have called $4k an OK/reasonable deal. Now it's a great deal.

I would absolutely love to see a prerunner build. It would also kind of fix the dents in the bed if you were to buy bedsides. Overall it’s a sick little truck. My friend has a little single cab and it’s fun to drive.

man that's a grow dozer for sure. Any truck coming out of the emerald triangle will need every bushing and ball joint replaced asap.

Seeing as how the fenders and bedsides are already cut up, I’d say this thing has a future as a crawler on 1 tons. Nice find!

Keep the truck, clean it fix it and then sell it.... I'd love to see the whole project from start to finish. Cheers.

My favorite 4x4 channel. I drive a 2013 GX460. All the work you do is amazing, especially utilizing recourses. I love it. I'm surprised you sold the Taco, but financially that makes sense to grow the channel. PS. Ill give you 5k for the truck. 4k, what a price!

I gotta say mike, a lot of people wouldnt sell a supercharged gen 3 for a gen one beat up taco. But if anyone can make it work it’s you 🤙🏻 I’m excited to see what you do to it

LETS GOOOOOOOOOO Found you from the Tacoma but once I found out you had a Cherokee I was defintely staying around. Cant wait for some new videos on this thing! Also that F-250 was a smart buy. Keeps some miles off of your rigs Had that 3.4 in my 3rd Gen and that motor is awesome, 4k is a great deal tbh but its all about your area. Chuck the Satoshi grill mod in that thing

It's an alright deal, but I think $3500 would have been better for it. I'd say flip it to get something better! It also serves as a learning experience for doing body work.

Definitely make it into a 4x4 rock crawler oriented rig! Also 4K for that is a great deal! You should go through the axle engine and transmission/transfer case just to make sure its all good, but that drive train is amazingly reliable and strong! Stoked to see what comes of the new taco

That’s a steal for what it is. Most people will say it’s trash and not worth it. But you can get a bed for around $700 and it won’t cost that much to get that suspension running well. Ditch the wheels/tires. Put it on 35s with lighter wheels Fix the body damage as much as you can. Make a cool bumper for the back and some sliders and you’ll be able to sell that thing for 15k

Congrats on the new Ford and Toyota and for selling the previous Toyota! Really enjoyed the last project. It sounds like you want to keep your Jeep forever, if that's the case, it may be a good idea to turn and burn a profit on this one and free up some cash on future projects. Doing a restoration project for profit sounds like a good series. Good luck and keep up the great work

Love your channel mate, well done keeping new projects coming. You could try giving the seatbelts some good wash, it can help to retract them. Did it on my toyota van some years ago and it actually made a difference.

SAS and flat bed - rock crawler style. Fix the front end to look nice but make it capable of clearing 37's. You might actually still make money on it cause that would be a killer truck. I miss my first gen.

Thats a nice pick! Idk how much you know about that 04 Ford though, the 6.0 engine is known for having a lot of issues so just a warning, but congrats on the new purchase!

got an 01 same color 5 speed 3.4 i love that truck cant wait to see more video on it !!! oh and i paid 7K canadian money for mine it was bone stock but ad the frame recall done in 2016 ad a little bit of rust to fix ( road salt ) so yeah you got a good deal on it i guess haha :P

You got a steal in today's market i gave 3000 for mine 2 years ago was bone stock didnt have a v6 and body was in almost the same shape other than bed was replaced still needed a paint job till I wrecked it lol

Stoked for you! Be careful with that 6 leaker though. That can drain all your funds very quickly. Your wheeling vids are super cool but you have the XJ for that so I suggest clean the new Tacoma up for resell so you can get another interesting vehicle
