What's satisfying about your videos is how thorough you are, and the attention to detail. Can't wait to see this rig get built.
Excellent work Mike ! Love the earlier Tacos. Looking forward to whatever you have planned for it. 💯🇨🇦
I just love this truck! And you did such a nice job cleaning it up! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Bro honestly you make some of my favorite videos haha you seem like a cool guy thanks for giving knowledge man !
Been waiting on this video to drop 🍻💪🏻
There's something so satisfying about seeing you reverse someone's shotty work and bringing the truck back to what it should be. The whole time I'm like, that crappy hitch weld needs to go!
I love this video. Makes me want an older toyota tacoma even more now.
Now thats a Coast Guard approved mustache!
Dude about time you’ve dropped another video. I’ve been hooked on your vids. I like the genuine vibe man. Keep it up!

I’m excited to see the build progress!
Not 100% sure if it works with Tacomas but on the older toyota pickups the passenger and drivers side seat cushions are interchangeable. We used that knowledge to get really nice 4runner buckets out of a pick and pull junkyard for a buddy's truck. Found two 4runners with the same interior color and good passenger seats, swapped cushions in the yard and he bought the clean pair.
I've got the same truck with 499090 km on the clock as we speak. Replaced my bed a couple years ago, swapped out the fuel pump and evap canister at the same time while it was apart. Nice work.

Watching your videos makes me want to sell my newer Tacoma and buy an older one and fix it up. But the Tacoma market where I’m at is still relatively high for what you get

Thank you for all the kind words. I’m a huge Milwaukee fanboy. There are no other brands. Although I don’t hate makita. And honestly harbor freight has the best cheap angle grinders
Can't beat a cheap first gen I miss mine but had to sale it the frame was rotted..
Nice!
put one of those modern grills on it and nice headlights
NY!
If someone treats the outside of their vehicle like that previous owner did, how do think they treated the engine ? Oil changes , service intervals. Pull the air cleaner on a used car you are looking at. That will tell you if they took care of it.
Bob the bed and SAS it!
I don’t know if you watch Flying Wheels (here on KZread), but he used fishing line to sew closed the rip in a seat and it worked really well. Just thought if you thought about maybe sewing the hole in the seat truck, it looked super easy.
@mikes4x4garage
Жыл бұрын
Haven’t watched, although I’d think that would rip apart fast? Thin line in cloth? Not sure…
@tahu300
Жыл бұрын
@@mikes4x4garage so if you look up Flying Wheels, it’s on the video titled “I bought a broken hummer H2 for $4500…” from about a month ago. The repaired part is shown at the 9:00 mark of the video. Earlier in the video he shows the damage, which is pretty minor like yours. It’s just an option, it’s worth trying if you’re going to dump the seats anyways. Maybe it makes it look a lot nicer like it did here. Fishing wire is I’d assume fairly resilient but the fabric is what it is so it’s hard to say for certain. Just have a quick look, 2 minutes of watching that video and seeing what it looks like after vs before and it might work for you.
@tahu300
Жыл бұрын
I guess the tear is shown at about 2:20 in that video. It’s not quite as bad as the tear in your seat but still could work.
Good time to just Bob and dovetail that rear. Dig your style boss. Get after it.

I had no idea that you could just use fabric spray paint the beat up carpet. Now that I've seen the result I'll definitely give that a try rather than waste money on a replacement.
