I bought a house (and had to break into it)
Үй жануарлары мен аңдар
[animal resources, products I use and more: goherping.com] - I purchased a home! Unfortunately I was given the wrong door code and opted for the window. In this video, I start the moving process, making good progress, and show some of the home. I also answer some questions about what's been happening and clear out what I can only hope was my last rental. Thanks for your support for making it possible.

For the spiders, an odd solution. If you get a home energy audit from a reputable company, they can often find lots of those cracks and failed seals which allow the spiders to get in. It won’t help with the ones already breeding inside, but it will both allow you to seal the spiders out and improve the efficiency of your home.

"Bounce Dryer Sheets There are a number of herbs and items that seem to effectively keep spiders backed away from your doorway and cabinets. Bounce dryer sheets are excellent repellents for a number of insects and even deer. They won't work on all critters but there are some that cannot tolerate these fluffy sheets. Beside above, what will repel spiders? Here are some essential oils that work great to repel spiders: Tea tree. Rose. Cinnamon. Citrus. Peppermint. Citronella. Lavender. Eucalyptus. "

This reminds me of the time fire ants built a nest in the wall of our home when I was much younger. Said wall was the wall between my bedroom and my parents bedroom. We only found it when the nest spilled over into my closet and my dresser. I got dressed one day and got bite by the ants in my privates. That hurt so bad. And can’t do ants to this day...

A lot of the spiders will leave as you move in and get settled. For the ones that don't, just vacuum them up and empty the vacuum canister outside. Your crawlspace actually looks pretty neat and clean! Good luck and I hope you have a long and happy time in your new house!
Hair spray works well for killing small bugs because they can't move once it hardens, but I'm not sure if it can take down something as big as a spider. My mom uses it on fire ants when they inevitably invade our bathroom in search of water in summer

Spray deodorant is a pretty good bugkiller as well if you don't have anything else on hand, it doesn't give them a quick death though, they spasm for a while. Deep in our hearts we all knew that axe body spray is a deadly weapon

You know.... The first thing I thought of when you couldn't get the lock box open was "there's probably a lockpickinglawyer video that opens that model in 20 seconds". Options are now to break in through an unlocked window, or break into the lock box. Because apparently I also did not think to call the realtor to say hey it's not working. :)

For the spiders: my family has always used peppermint oil just brushed into the corners the spiders like to hang out. It's worked really well for us, and on the plus side, its not detrimental to our cats.

Congratulations on the house!
Buy some alpine wsg, mix it according to the label and spray all your baseboards. It's relatively safe (keep pets out of wet spray, lock kitty in the bathroom) and should take care of your pests in a week or two. You will have loads of vacuuming to do as pests die. It is one of the most commonly used products pest control companies put in households. In my state it is purchasable without a license(not restricted use, should be fine in your state too) just Google a local pesticide retailer (I buy online). Save yourself a ton of money, the price of all those hot shots is about what a container of alpine is and you will get tons of uses. Hope this helps.
congratulations
