Here's a good idea. If you see a lot of metal flakes in the oil (this was a ton), do NOT keep spinning the motor over creating more damage. I really thought that was common sense 😂

The crank bearing went because the oil squirter mod was done but you NEED the 2007+ Higher Output Oil Pump to make up for the new oil flow ... The newer oil pump is part # 5D3-13300-00 and has the stamp E-1 - yours still has the 2005 oil pump which is stamped E-2 ... also I would get an OEM cam chain tensioner and throw that manual one in the trash as that's why the cam chain was loose and skipped time ...

Timing was off but that was on purpose. 1 tooth advance on the exhaust is a common mod. Essentially giving the bike the same timing as the motocross bike (whose engine is the same except for this) - improves performance.

I just bought a non runner motorcycle that I was able to get running. It's the first time I've done that. Partly inspired by channels like yours. I figured I could enjoy the bike for a little bit then sell it and make a little money. Mostly I just wanted to see if I could diagnose the problem and get it running. Obviously I couldn't hear it run, so I was hoping it was nothing catastrophic. Turns out it just needed a good carb clean/rebuild.

It kills me because Joe's making a $100000 a year or more off this KZread channel so he can go ahead and pay inflated prices for junk but it's pissing me off as the rest of us who are watching this getting ready to sell something now they all think that the stuff's worth more than gold that quad was worth $500 tops

It would be cool content to see you press apart the crank and rebuild it/rebalance it. I considered trying that on the last bike I bought with a bad crank but then found weld repairs to the cases so I bought a used bottom end.

I just got a 01 350 worrier. Runs pretty good it has a brand new carb. I just replaced the throttle cable. Now before all that when I got it it ran good. Now it runs high then goes low and shuts off. It's getting fuel. So if you know what it might be let me know. Really like your videos really helpful.

On my 04 trx 450r back when it was knew i tried one of them elkas. My friend liked it. I hated how it took all feedback from front tires away so i would kick out more than i wanted to on the track. If you find and 04 450r with original hrc you need to ride it. Pulls like a freight train but only really starts to pull at half throttle. But then will make power right to the limiter. Sucks mine was stolen about 10 years ago i had stock shocks setup by derisi racing for my weight and my rear linkage was alst replaced by derisi link whick almost eliminates the kick from rearend when suspension got over heated. Hade lonestar racing firered +2.5inch wider and +1forward a-arms and a 2.5 inch extended axle. Was so fast im 130$ soaking wet so i use leave line in 3rd gear i was never beat to first corner on mx. I lost one time dragracing a banshee that was over 400cc and he only beat me by a bumper.
