I’m enjoying it. About 40hrs into it I have some gripes with combat inputs and perry mechanics being separate from the block button like it is in most these games and the Perry’s wide animation window leaving you wide open on misses but other than that I’ve been vibing with it.

I'm enjoying this game way more than DD2. Bro, you got way more patience than me. I died so many times to the blade master; the game asked if I wanted to play on easy mode. I absolutely 100 percent chose that option, and she still ran my fade; at least two times before I beat her. 😂 She was way too strong for that point in the game.

Lol og dd was a niche game , and dd2 is really just dd enhanced edition. If u like dd u gonna like it, if u dont like then is understandable too. But somehow influencers and gaming critics made a niche game sounds like zelda goty type of game is just rofl

Man what I thought I was the only one I felt so ashamed 😂🤦🏽‍♂️ my third run with her I pull out my rifle out headshot her back to back then shot her with the revolver and let my comrade do the rest and I got myself the finishing killing blow

I can't be watching because I want to play it for myself but I hope you have fun, I'll check it out when I'm done with the game

The mic I use is the Samson q9u and I use the XLR cord for it(you can use both XLR cables and USB cables for it) and once you buy that just look up the proper settings for it on KZread

It's early to say this but so far it looks better than the few short clips i have seen. Is there an option to let you remap controll buttons?

Just know the combat gets more peak the more you play. Clocked in about 30 hours in the game and I’m still in Yokohama

This! The full yellow bar on your weapon icon on right of screen means your weapon is coated in blood so you are incurring penalties. Gotta shake it off by tapping R1 after a weapon swing(square button). Just like a Ki Pulse move in Nioh games.

Ronin parry timing is a lot tighter than sekiro. And the enemies always throw your rhythm off by doing fast swing follow by slow swing and they mix them up good. Because the parry button is also an attack, when you whiff it. You get punish hard unlike in sekrio when you miss perfect parry, you just block but lose your posture meter

Almost didn't buy it, and happy I did. It received opinions that almost deterred me. It is not an easy game. Look forward to playing it again after I stop playing for the day

Loved the game. Got the platinum and finished every single thing in it, and now i feel empty. I wish you could reset public order in midnight, cause i love going there, take down all the enemies and fight the boss.

Honestly, I didn't like either sekiro or GoT, maybe it's because I mostly play RPGs but neither game did anything for me, but I definitely do plan on playing rise of the ronin at some point, this is definitely more up my alley, this game has actual progression unlike the other two games, and I think that's why I didn't enjoy them, I prefer my games to have some sort of leveling system, gear/loot and lots of unlockable skills among other progression and RPG elements, 3 games I did enjoy were AC origins, AC odyssey and AC Valhalla, all fantastic AAA open world action RPGs just like RotR, but I'll probably wait to pick up the game on sale probably next year, I'm still playing games I missed from last year

I was getting beat up...

I have found this game to be a lot easier than Sekiro! I think perhaps when I go back to Sekiro I may be better with the parrying but yeah not sure what it was about this game but it just clicked with me! I barely die in this game, maybe once before I figure it out but Odachi is my go to! Dazzling Devil was fun killed me once but so far not having any issues with the hidden bosses or any boss for that matter. Plowing through, key is to be agressive, block parry as you attack it's not that hard really.

This is a GREAT GAME FOLKS and I have played and platinum them ALL. You cannot play 2 hours and then call this game trash. You want a challenge I dare all ELDEN RINGS FANBOYS to play midnight mode in Rise of the Ronin.

Beating Sekiro doesn't mean shit, that game is not a reference for difficulty, it's just pressing two buttons at the right time, not really hard at all
