Never thought a shura ending can be pacifist lol tbh a stealth death blow is kinda different to a kill deathblow since it isnt actually required to progress the game But this challenge is insane enough, that im totally fine with it

​@@wasabilai9405 yeah it's just filler stuff from alternate saves. Everything you see me when I'm attacking is from saves where I'm just practicing or post editing if I forgot to show something (usually that's why I kept the shura skin on in these clips). Apologies for the confusion!

Going for shura ending was probably a good idea. I think divine dragon would’ve been impossible and I don’t know of any way to skip it.

Nice video. By the way, I've been trying Bull Skip recently on a controller, and I've found a different method that I like: instead of jumping toward the tree from an angle, just go parallel to the roof. This will ensure you go far enough, and and it will ensure your attempts are more consistent, instead of a slightly different angle every time. Then you can turn in the air, a little before the bounce and a lot after. Crank up the camera sensitivity beforehand, and at least for me, this seems to work better

Honestly, I think that non-Shura Isshin may have been easier due to his aggression in phases 2 and 3 allowing you to simply deflect everything and actually stay ahead of his posture regeneration while dealing no vitality damage. The reason why I believe that you made the right choice fighting Shura Isshin instead has nothing to do with Isshin himself, but is instead because of another pair of bosses: Corrupted Monk (True) and Divine Dragon. True Monk's third phase might be harder than phase 2 Shura Isshin, while divine dragon's second phase... is just impossible. As you have demonstrated that using lightning redirection is not allowed to hit an enemy, divine dragon cannot be defeated, as the only way to end the fight is by using lightning redirection, even if you fill its posture using deflections first.

I’m pretty sure the initial spin when you activate the umbrella counts as a deflect, so the upgrade is not necessary

Yes but his attacks were far too fast to be able to deflect all (or almost all) his attacks. He most definitely would have killed me or I would have run out of emblems before breaking his posture.

@@ImJarbn for after he drops the armor, at least, you can. Just saw that on Baron's Castle video beating sekiro "normally". Drink from a gourd, he stabs and you counter. Had to get the fire dousing gourd because the healing one wasn't enough to break the whole posture but maybe that would be less stress than dealing with the whole tomoe way fight

I actually did use that method for his final phase. The gourd + any other healing items like pellets or divine grass work, but I couldnt get him to get "locked" in the cycle of bait, counter, bait, counter. It was more like a "Oh I have time and space to bait him now" every so often. As far as I know there isn't a consistent reliable method to bait his mikiri in his earlier phases.

Saying this before watching , i doubt the bull ogre and ape are even possible

Now do it with journey to the west ending

Of course you can. The bulls parry meter doesn't go down, so you can just parry all the attacks and you can jump off of the ogre just like emma and isshin. But the skips themselves are much harder to perform than doing either of these so that's why I did them instead.
